No, feet is nowhere near as close as fat chicks in terms of popularity, but like both of them, no one is gonna make you look at either, and there is room enough in the world for both to exist without issues.
Lets say you get a game with the normal generic slim models in. It has potential but something is off with it. This is when criticism makes sense. If a dev is going to make a specific BBW game then I think they should look up actual BBW pornstars or lingerie models. There are some that have super cute/gorgeous faces. Just making a 3d head chubby is never going to work.
