Quick question regarding the graphic style for the characters. Why go for the more cell-shaded look? I remember playing Drunken Cowboy a long while ago and it using Celeste Star as the model in scenes. Was it changed so that you could add more images to the game when you couldn't find images that would fit the scenes with the model pictures like MDQP had issues occasionally?

Keep in mind that I don't mind the stylistic change, I'm just curious about it :)

Background was that I found Drunken Cowboy a number of years ago, and it was the first adult game that made me go wow. Take into account these games were totally free, the author got nothing for them, so the scene was full of small and abandoned games.

When I started CB:TEA the cell shading was a quick way to improve on 3Delight renders (using GIMP). As I've grown better with 3Delight, I'm now replacing them with better lit images. I actually tried making a free game with gifs and images, I picked a porn star with a lot of clips and started on a corruption game based in a hotel. It gets very tricky very soon with trying to find the right images, or making scenes around what you have. Then you have the issues of malware when you scour the internet for ripped gifs.

Dude I remember this game from ages ago, its still not finished, wow.
It is not good, but it all comes down to how much time is available to work on the game. I've got a full time + job and other commitments. Game has been going on for 3 years, which is way longer than I wanted. I know plenty of other games with similar development times, and fuck loads where the author has just walked away and abandoned it.

So why does this appear on the update list? Has there been any recent progress?
1. Added content Smugglers area
2. Added two Agent Lucy adventures
3. Restructured Carla (existing content created by Emily Morose)
4. Added a couple of small events to the 'Cage Fight' mission (third more content to the mission)
5. Improved and added more images for Cage Fight, Shebo Throne and Kidnapping electro device
6. Small glass elevator scene

Personally I would wait for the 0.9 version before playing again. This was really a release just to show stuff is happening.

What are you playing on, a phone? I've tried it on various PC monitor sizes, but never on tablets or a phone. Only a really small screen would I imagine any problems.

notebook i7 amd290gt win10.
game worked for 4 days until I reloaded. since then I've had various errors, but also saw the side-menu for the first time. restart does not help. I'll propbably download it again, when I find the time. Maybe deleting the cookie will do the trick, but after some 20 hours of playing I'm not yet ready to give up on my 'save' ...

Hi Dracis3D, any idea if you will try to update the game? I've really liked what you'd done so far :)

Yes. I aim to complete it. I've had no time or inclination to work on this, and the months have dragged by. My current situation is better and I'm back to writing. Wrongly I've hidden away, but not fled the scene.
Hi, any update on the progress? Would really like to see it through.

So do I. I've no desire to join the collection of game makers who gave up, but I've certainly joined those who take years.

I'm fully back to writing but most effort is on a short CYOA called Sales Manager, for now (tamer content than CB:TEA). Part way through the CB:TEA re-structure.

Looking at an Xmas release for both. The short story will be complete, CB:TEA hard to tell where I will be.
