The problem is this line:
Change it to
cd "$( dirname $0 )"
That means "change directory to the directory where this script is".

Except you still can't fuck Lisa, and the Olivia/Olivia's Mom storylines are unfinished for the main route. At the very least, DarkSilver would need to finish that before the game could be considered "finished".
It's also quite obvious that he didn't run out of steam completely, because he's working on Glamour right now. My best guess is that he had the idea for Glamour for a while, and was getting a little tired of Big Brother. I bet the Patreon guideline changes gave him the excuse he wanted to take a break and get started on something new. I do think that he'll eventually get back to BB. From personal experience, it's very hard to completely abandon an unfinished project forever.
It sounds great, but probably won't work out. Just setting up the infrastructure seems like a lot of work; and even then, I find it unlikely that you'll get enough people who are able and willing to do the more skill-intensive stuff.
I mean, it might work out. I just find it unlikely. You'll at the very least need someone that can do renders, someone that can write competent dialog, and someone that can integrate those pieces into the game. Then you'll need all 3 or more of those people to be willing to work for no money, and with little help. They'll probably be able to commit an hour or two a day at max.
Not impossible, just highly improbable.
Can anyone help me, I'm getting a black screen when I make a new save. I've downloaded the game 3 times and it still doesn't work.

If you just unpack the zip or rar file to a place on your harddrive that isn't write protected, saving should be no problem at all.

54% on the money target per month on the new game. this new strategy is working well.... This game for all its failing and lack of interest from the developer is an example to all game devs.

that works well? He's just falling, there are fewer and fewer people giving him money. And that is very good! He works and gets less and less money. This is certainly a good motivation lol More work and less money. The editing of Big Brother would have been the same job as now. But twice the money. He just had to do something different from his brother. Or the brother is just a nickname. Other developers have done that too.

The developer of Lucky Mark would work much more. then he could replace Big Brother. Lucky Mark has the same game system, and is better than BigBrother or School, Love & Friends. It is a pity that lucky mark is not far in development. There he loses a lot of people, and also gets little new people.

Do not expect anymore updates any time soon.
The Patreon crackdown on incest themed games hit this game between versions 0.12 and 0.13.
Long story short, Patreon wouldn't allow anymore Big Brother at all, not even changes to character relations that made them no longer family (biological or otherwise), and Dark Silver/Sandlust Games have been devoting their time to their new game/remake of Glamour.
If there's going to be any updates to the game, beyond what modders come up with, it will get posted here.
Until such time, you're wasting your time asking for updates/new versions.
Irony my friend. Im saying that as as a developer he dropped this because he didnt want to continue, used patreon as an excuse and built a new game that blows, and now he's lost half his fan base and money stream.
He built a great game he didnt like, and now he's building a new something that fails hard. time will tell.
