The one in DLsite contains ENG "and" JAP versions. So the size is doubled.

Does this game not have any scenes, or am too stupid to initialize them? I purposefully lost to different enemies 4-5 times, waited for quite some time on 0 hp - nothing happens.

No real CG scenes other than the rare ones you see post-capture / swallow image that accompanies an animation - like one of the paralysis plant animations.

Most of it is just repetitive animation without finish. Some of the post-capture animations, usually capturing-type images, fade to black (which you can check for usually by pressing attack at 0 hp) and then use another animation but again there's no real CG finishing image.
