The rest of the cast probably were too rare for the AI to have fully learned what they look like, which makes it very hard to reproduce decent images of them, especially in a specific art style, so they had to fill in with 'generic' looking characters.

Having said that, its also probably why they all vary greatly in their art style. AI just isn't very good about making specific characters yet.

AI is perfectly capable of making specific characters, you just need to know how to train it and make an embed. At the very least, NAI is capable of doing that, last I checked.
