Well... I mean, taxing the machine at full load for 20 hours a day while you render stuff does in fact lower the life span on rigs. Although there are devs out there that seem to go through rigs like some people go through work socks.

Rendering with Daz using modern GPUs (pretty sure Yuno was using a 3090/4090) is hardly 'full load'. They hit 250-ish watts and often hit 65 degrees in a good airflow case (which is nowhere near their max). The only part I've replaced while rendering 3800+ renders is an AIO (and likely a boot drive here soon). It's an excuse more often than its not.

Proper airflow and maintenance will often allow rigs to outlast their parts.
