Most of the speculation in the thread has concerned the Elena discovery cliff hanger. Can you pass on to the thread any tidings as to what "might" transpire, story wise?

Realistically, I haven’t heard the others views on where the story proceeds on that issue. iMO, however, I relish 50% of the next release just unfold around what Elena now knows, what she observes with MC/D behavior during the day, what she does to manipulate their behavior during the day, etc.

I would imagine that the end result of this discovery will be an amicable one where Elena ultimately supports the MC/D relationship. (I.e., Elena is not likely to become the destructive jilted lover).

If I might add to it. Like it or not the reality of the rapid success of Melody was the initial DMD fans support. So if Mr.Dots wanted to put out another game after Melody it only makes good business sense to keep the DMD audience, and a good way to ensure we'll be around to try out the next game is to keep DMD going longer than Melody.
Think of DMD as the Simpsons, any time Fox wants to try out an iffy show they often debut it after the Simpsons where you know there is already a large viewing audience.
So maybe DMD will be around for no other reason than to keep a loyal audience ready to give the next Patreon approved game a go.

The reason Melody will end development before DMD was the decision to make Melody a finite project that would end (hopefully) before the dreaded “this game needs two downloads because the data set is too large” cliff. Hopefully the advancement of computer tech will further stave off this cliff as the Melody renders are the more advanced Daz3d models and thus (I imagine) taking up more data.

Played Daughter for Dessert, up to chapter 9. Been waiting for the downloadable files for 9 & 10, which are only online play, as of now... It's a pretty good game, still not as addictive as D and DMD...

Dating My Daughter is the game that introduced me to F95zone in the first place, and dozens of different games found here. I have played a lot of outstanding games, but Dating My Daughter is by far the best. I thought Melody would be a poor game, but that turned out to be great too. I like Melody, but nothing beats DMD.

hey all.

downloaded dmd 2 for mac and it all seems to be working fine at first. Then after the third choice i make in the game, to either hug or do nothing to jennifer, the game crashes. everytime.

I've tried deleting and re-installing.

Anybody have a suggestion?

Are you using an old save from chapter 1?

It turns out now that I got passed that part but then it proceeded to crash every time at thte next choice i make with georgina.

OK, fair enough. Tech is not my forte, so I usually don't add that as much into my thought process as I should when dealing with a tech based issue.
Still a valid thought having DMD running into the next game will help draw attention to it, this is not a criticism just good marketing.

That's why you're experiencing crashes in the game.

What you will need to do is click D's image in the corruption flower (see first image).
Jot down all the info I've highlighted in blue (see second image) also make sure you note your FP and LP because you'll need that information as well.
Start up chapter 2 and click, "Continue from CH.1".
Enter the information as requested from chapter 1 (see third image).

Here's a complete list of everything you will be asked to enter..

What is your name? (the name of your character in the game)
What is the name of your girl?
How many Frienship Points (FP) do you have?
How many Love Points (LP) do you have?
How many ASS POINTS do you have?
How many BOOBS POINTS do you have?
How many EXH POINTS do you have?

Ok I understood everything except for the third picture. That never shows up for me. The game never asks me to input anything. When I click "continue from ch1" at the main menu the game starts as if everything is ok

Do you by any chance know how to input a save file manually instead of it automatically loading ch1?

My game is crashing and I think I could solve it by manual input. But its not offering me to do that. When I click "continue from ch1" it starts as if everything works and has all my stats from ch 1 but then the game crashes when i start making choices

I've been doing that with my chapter 2 playthroughs. I've been using the chapter 1's PC version, and manually putting them to the chapter 2's Mac version.

For me it doesn't. For me it loads my save from ch 1. But then it starts crashing.

windows?
goto folder %APPDATA%\RenPy\DMD-1469236204 and delete folder port
all your stored ch1 progress is gone, but don't ask me how to restore it
