Kink-wise it's very lacking, especially compared to its sims 3 counterpart.
Kinky world has: Rape, bestiality, blackmail, sleep assault, domination/submissive system, cuckoldry, masochist trait which makes a sim like being raped, brothels, prostitution, a more in depth incest system that's more than just a toggle, non-rabbit hole highschools, alcohol(that can be drugged), drugs, some bondage gear/animations, hotels(for prostitution), modeling career, an arousal need that is constantly growing(adjustable) which affects a sims sexual reluctance, stripping for money, exhibitionism. I'm probably leaving a couple of things out.
Wicked-wise you have: On/off switch incest, some bondage gear/animations, exhibitionism, an in depth...period....system, a desire system that never seems to build unless you are flirty or talking to someone that's naked, and...a...well, it has a lot of--that's pretty much it.
Right now, the only thing wicked has over kinky is the fact it's connected to a game that doesn't take 5+ minutes to load on an ssd, that, and it has A LOT of animations thanks to everyone jumping on the patreon bandwagon. Seriously, I have 11 patreon animation packages(thanks to fin, leoric, matt, jf1983 and everyone else contributing here) and almost 2000 animations, if you had all available animations it'd probably be well over 10k.

I will always be mad with Turbo for this freaking period stuff, there's so much cool stuff to do and he's focusing on this shit, i just don't understand, thank god for "manual npc sex" at least i can roleplay most stuff but still sucks to look for a long list of animations to find the exact ones.
Still, i really recommend playing sims 4 with whicked whims and the other mods you can find in the mega folder, i may hate some limitations from sims 4 but it will still be better than how heavy sims 3 is.

I recommend you do some research on loverslab to get some cool body types, skins, etc. I'm thinking of doing a "starters pack" and put on my mega folder, i will see to it tommorrow.

I think the period stuff are pretty good addition for realism. But i agree with you, Turbo is overdoing it at this rate. WW is still missing a lot of features it should have. Compare it to kinkyworld, WW still has a long way to go

By the way, you can make folders within the mod folder itself. It's usually a good idea to separate your differing mods by type so you can easily manage the various mods you accumulate. As an example I have a folder in the "mods" folder that's called "clothes" that contains all my custom clothing package files. Believe me, even if you don't plan on getting much cc your mods will accrue very quickly and if you ever have errors and need to eliminate mods to find out the culprit it can save you a lot of hassle.
Wait what? In TS4 you can have subfolders only in the mods folder.. not subfolders inside subfolders (for instance Mods>Folder1>Folder1) .... that can't be right.. that's not what you mean right?

I come from modded skyrim and believe me, it's not nearly as stressful compared to sims 3 and skyrim for example, i like modded TS4 because it gives me the opportunity of making my own sex stories, i changed every townie and added a family to every empty house, every household with it's own story with a kink in mind, then i choose one at random and go see what happens. It's nearly complete and it took time, but at least for me who like to sandbox it's really worth it. And i never had a crash, while in skyrim every 5 steps was a ctd, it really hurts my poor skull...

It's very simple, you just place package files in a folder called mods, enable mods within the game and you're good to go. If you want to talk about pain in the ass modding though you should check skyrim out, if we were talking about that game I'd agree that it's more trouble than it's worth.
Anyway, I won't keep hounding you to consider otherwise but you shouldn't give up, it always seems daunting at first, especially if you've never done it before but modding can be a very rewarding experience. Just start easy, only get what you need and add things at your own pace. Don't worry about organizing folders or anything like that, that was just some advice for down the line if you potentially had dozens of clothes, accessories and other mods.
If you change your mind you're welcome to come back and ask any questions, I don't know if that goes against this particular threads rules but if it does you can pm any of us here and I'm sure everyone would be more than willing to help you.
That's what I meant. The sims 4 > Mods > Folder > Package
Any more folders past that and supposedly the game won't detect any package files within, never tried it.

Wow KinkyWorld has a ton of stuff. Last time I played there wasn't alcohol or anything like that. Being an escort was the last thing added. It makes me want to install Sims 3 because Kinky World added so much fun to Sims 3. But even on my gaming PC it runs like shit even with Overwatch installed.

Yeah, i kinda want to play sims 3 again as well after all that attractive stuff added in kinky world. But no matter what kind of optimization mods you add, sims 3 will always has trash performance. You will also have to wait for the lengthy loading screen (usually 10-20 minutes) before starting the game too
