Patreon is a payment system not a forum where the people are looking for projects in the case of adult content.
people who support these projects simply use the payment system being posted any alternative would garner the same
results and having patrons switch is not exactly rocket science change the Patreon link to whatever you want to use!
here is an alternative for people who are to afraid of Hatreon

it takes literally seconds to find the alternatives it'll take a few weeks to get through moving people away from patreon
all the while letting patreon run during the transfer you wont exactly have much negative impact to deal with and you tell patreon to go stuff themselves its pretty much win win.

If Irredeemable successfully moved all his patrons to MakerSupport, he would be the largest account there by a factor of three, and would be responsible for a very significant percentage of that site's total traffic. Patreon, in contrast, has hundreds of adult content creators making more than $1000/month. It's a much bigger risk to be the biggest creator on a tiny website than a mid-level creator on a giant one.
It takes seconds to google for some websites, but it would take a heck of a lot longer than that to move Patrons to those websites. Most people would probably never move.
Though Patreon doesn't make it super easy to find other adult content creators, I would bet that a lot of people pledge to more than one project because sharing the pledges across a single account is easier than trusting your credit card information to a lot of different websites.
Patreon has been building steam for YEARS at this point and has the benefit of being a Big Real Company that will be around for a while, in one form or another. Whereas it's likely that any company that springs up as a competitor will fold within a year or two.
I'm not saying a Patreon competitor with looser standards on adult content shouldn't exist, I just think you're vastly underestimating how hard it is to make one.

the alternatives are roaring along because they have anyone who disagree's with internet censorship moving to them
there are tens of thousands of users shifting away from all the platforms run by the far left biased owners you think the several hundreds of thousands of accounts purged from twitter simply disappeared? they moved to other platforms.
those thousands of accounts link to MILLIONS of other users who are also gravitating away from the big platforms.
the alternatives for patreon exist because of that shift. they will be around much longer than you give them credit for
some will continue to grow until they become just another over regulated system just like the big ones now and the cycle will repeat itself.
whats even funnier is twitter specifically has Trump to thank that the purge they are doing hasn't killed the platform. without his millions of followers and all the tweets the Media is ravenous for the platform would have been in the financial toilet as the stocks would have tanked (investors don't invest in things with shrinking user bases Trump is the only thing keeping them from paying attention to the numbers)

As I recall, in the distant past, Long ago, in a thread far far away (wait it was this one), it was determined that a patch/console command would be EASY for someone (not me cause I have NO clue) to make since ALL that needed changing would be how 'D' addresses the MC. That's it really, have the patch/console command/MC name choice switch what 'D' says to DAD.
As to COOKIES I say Chocolate Chip or Molasses with vanilla frosting.
For Cake I want something simple like Angel Food with Strawberry on top.
Just a thought.

That's it really, have the patch/console command/MC name choice switch what 'D' says to DAD.

Though the only cake I can think of wanting is Cheesecake, which is a pie, but I digress.
One of the other games did the console command switch to 'repair' the game, it seems a bit too open for my tastes, since it is still the work of the original creator... adding a veil of separation between creator and the blackhearted hacker out to corrupt you pure and innocent work has a nicer level of deniability to it.

Look guys, Deem said the game will be out by the end of the month. You have three days left to wait. I know it's been a long time but Deem has been in regular communication with his supporters and has repeatedly promised this. We can hold on for a little while, no need to fret. In the mean time, try out some of the other games, I'm sure you'll find something you can enjoy.

I don't worry about waiting. Even beyond the day he said. I know that when he updates the game, I'll enjoy it and I'll thank him. And for me, that's enough. Meanwhile I can do other things, my life doesn't depend on a single game.

I've seen two ways that the content creator did this (without a third party "hack"):
1) create a simple boolean defaulted to false named something like "IC_Enabled"
The familial references are set to look for this to be true. if false, they default to whatever the creator thinks will be acceptable to Patreon.
It's simple enough to create a reference to this in Python or any language.
2) Create a file which contains the names and "pet names" each character refers to each other. Give users the option of an IC patch to replace it with.
