so I have downloaded from the mega link and applied the patch as instructed but I keep getting these 2 pop ups
If anyone can tell me whats wrong like if i applied the patch improperly or if i need to fix something it would be very appreciated.
update: apparently all i had to do was re download d3dx9_43 shit. I feel very dumb.

You could try to download the file online since it isn't a file specific to the vn, but I don't see the same file in my game's folder so I don't know if it will help.

if still interested. it works if you uncheck the windows 7/8 support thing when you start the game.
So how good / bad is this there only 2 reviews and 1 doesn't count since it the typical ignorant VN guy review.

It's aggressively average. The girls are average, the story is slow and kinda boring and the CG's are just ok. It's not bad but its not something that really leaves an impression.
ya that what I am assuming, I don't mind slow story unless it pure boring (honestly slow vns can actually be quite great imo), but if it all very average I don't necessarily want to try and commit to one that is from what I read 10-15hours (for 1st read).
to fix this i had to run the english patch in folder eng_patch that is within the game folder

I wish we could get flight diary patch. There are so many eroges out there with not even an english release and get a full translation but we don`t get an uncensored patch for flight diary which is among the best eroge out there.

Japanese voice actors overact way too much. This game is so much less cringy when muted. I can't stand these games without muting the voices. Wish these games could be downloaded without the voices so I could save on the huge bandwidth it takes to dl these games.
Necroposting a bit here. I'm stuck with the same problem of the retranslation patch saying "You specified wrong folder or your IMHHW edition is not supported!"
I'm positive I'm directing it to the right location.
- I've tried the AdvHD.exe that came with the MEGA download from OP
- I've tried the AdvHD.exe that was posted by Sural Argonus on page 2
- I've tried running the patch as an administrator
- I've tried moving the game folder to my C: drive and G: drive.
-- I've put it in my Steam folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\)
-- I've put it the patch default folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\MoeNovel\If My Heart Had Wings\)
-- I've tried my own folder (G:\GOGLibrary\If My Heart Had Wings\)
- I've tried all of the above without installing the konosura_eng_patch_v2.1.0.142.exe patch and then running the retranslation patch.
- I've tried all of the above after installing the konosura_eng_path_v2.1.0.142.exe patch and then running the retranslation patch.
I'm out of ideas. Anybody have any advice for how to get the retranslation patch working? Cheers.

if you can start the setting thing then uncheck the box for win7/8 support(if you use 10). otherwise maybe some anti virus could stop the game? recently some of mine flagged it even though i had the game for 5-6 months in a folder.
Hopefully I'm not too late,
But here is what I did:
1) Open the en_patch folder and then run the konosora_eng_patch_v2.1.0.142.exe file in it.
2) A system pop-up will come out, select yes.
3) A pop-up called Konosora English Translation Patch will come out, press next on the first page.
*4) On the 2nd page, it will ask you for the source (?) of the konosora file, so on my 2nd try, I selected the folder of the game
that was extracted.
5) You select Patch! and then after it finishes loading the file in, you close the software.
6)Open the game and then Voilà! the game should be running fine now.
*The 1st time I directed the software to the requried folder was with the directory that was set on default so then on my 2nd try
I fixed the problem by doing what I specified at step #4.
ya sad that the proper flight diary can not be gotten and the english version can not have a proper version patch done to it even by fans.
