It's currently been moved as its undergoing review even though I was the source uploader because of a ton of false positive virus scans by our lovely user base in the thread. Apparently if virustotal or some other antivirus screams "Oh its got a trojan better delete asap!" it's correct 100% of the time and theres no possible way it could be wrong even whenever I mod android apps I have avg screaming like a bitch all the time. I'll see if I can get the staffs attention so it can go back up because I know it doesn't have a virus.

The whole game is needed as the files are all encrypted usually. As for teaching others about cracking drm I honestly think it would be too hard to teach not to mention if a method is taught then it just makes it easier for people making the drm to patch if the info is publicly available. I can give you a general idea of what they do though. Most of the drm crackers I know made tools that simply grab a key and use it to remove the drm permanently from the game though this requires having a legit account that has purchased the game. One drm cracker I know on the other hand found an exploit and doesn't need keys at all.

Theres no real one solution to cracking drm much like there isn't one solution to programming something. I just think cracking drm is harder than creating software because not only do you need some knowledge in programming but also some knowledge in how security works. I gave someone I know dlsite drm to cracked the drm as a test of his skill did it in 2 days but he's a reverse engineer with 14 some years of experience doing this sort of stuff.

I'm just wetting my feet into reverse engineering myself but if you are interested in learning Lena's tuts cover a great deal. Just don't expect to understand to understand everything from the start as theres a lot to take in. You can find and download them here.

The DLSite RJ code? If so it's the identification code for DLSite games, it's on the end of a game pages url. The English and Japanese site use the same numbers but one starts with RE one with RJ (region English/Japanese). For example...

I figured my DRM cracker buddy would of already saw it. I'll send it to him and see what he can do.

1) Extract into the game folder (override the original .exe)
2) Run setup.exe and install the game
3) Game should now be playable

BTW, are you still on the hunt for DRM games, would you mind if I were to dump some games on you from time to time? Can your buddies crack all of DMM's (4) DRM methods? (The 2 most widely used ones are serial number DRM and SoftDenchi DRM).

Feel free to send as many games as you like. I'm only trying to help cleanse DRM from products they don't belong in. As for what my buddies can crack, I've never really tried anything other than dlsite DRM so I can't really say but I wouldn't put it past them.
