This is just something I was playing around with, more to see how it worked than anything else. I don't imagine I'll do many, as it's more time consuming than I'd like, but it's nice to try out new things.

Good work. Ireally like the details in it.
But even this little piece of art shows, why animations are most of the time, not worth the effort. Thanks to the stop between the loops, it feels repetitive after two or three iterations. It is a hassle for every animator I know.

@celtic1138 and @FunFiction : How many samples do you do aprox? I think before the 1k is more of a testrun. But with nearly everything above 5k samples, I normaly can't see big diferences.

With well lit scenes I rarely go over 5k. Only when its low-light do I try with 10k+.

It really depends on the scene and the lighting. I've done renders with around 500 and they look good and clean but have had ones that had 10000 that are still grainy. I render to 98% convergence with the time limit and sample size set high so it won't time out or reach the sample limit.
I have no idea. I also render to 95 - 98% convergence with the time limit and sample size set very high (22000 and 12000) so renders always stops before reach the sample limit.

Show them. So everybody can see how references works. And why just try to copy the picture is not the same as, recreate the idea.
