How do you combat stress? I know lust and stress are tied into each other because a spike in lust tends to increase stress... Lust is difficult for me to combat past a certain number of girls because it just takes too many trips into combat (I can only have three party members at a time) and ultimately it doesn't seem to help. Sex doesn't seem to help with lust either which is odd. I give everyone a Miko outfit (the one that reduces stress and lust) but I get random spikes in stress and I have no way of finding out why which brings me to....

Stress spikes randomly even when using Miko outfits to combat stress and lust and I don't know why. Usually it's just one or two girls but it is so random.

Also does anyone know how to change PC's race? I tried opening my save file and changing "race" to "Dragonkin" but the game seems to ignore my change. I think something is wrong with the string cause the console returns an invalid index race which makes me believe I changed it wrong. But "Dragonkin" is used elsewhere in the file and I spelled it exactly like that.
Stress is not always tied to lust, I think.
Taking too much damage, or doing sex actions the slave doesn't wants, also raise stress.

As said above, Sedation always works. Or you can put them to sleep for a bigger effect (but the slave is unavailable for the rest of the day).
I think the sundress is more effective to reduce stress, while Miko Outfit is better to reduce lust.

The trick is interactions (or at least, what is more effective for me).
-"Meet" option is good to reduce stress. Just talk around (and going to the garden or city is better). Note the 3 little bars to the right, and follow them.
-"sex" works to reduce lust of course. There's 4 little icon for each character. The little red star is lust. Each icons fills with each sex action, and empties with an orgasm. So, after the first orgasm, when lust has been emptied, you can stop fucking (or go for a second orgasm if you have enough actions left) instead of using all the actions (usually, actions run out before they deplete the lust icon, at the 3rd-4th orgasm)

Also, you can let your slaves masturbate (in "customization") so they won't accumulate lust. I think the event (when they masturbate and the others watch) also affects lust.
Having your slaves relate with each other, also helps. If two slaves bicker, they probably accumulate stress. If they get along, most likely stress will reduce (and maybe lust).
Personal rooms also helps, as well as setting them just to rest instead of giving them a job (this is better for your adventuring party slaves)

I don't know what version of the game you're playing, but in 0.5.22b there is no masturbation option on the customization page. Perhaps you have some mod installed that adds such a thing?

It's in the vanilla game, after you have an advanced brand on a slave you get access to that and more in the Customization tab. Masturbation is allowed by default and they will do it if they end the day with high lust and sleep in a private room.

Cool. Learned something today. I've never built the beauty parlor in the game. I presume that's where you can do branding?

Nah you just need some progress with the main quest, i think it's after the first mission Melissa gives you.

Sandbox have been the cause of many issues and while people playing it state it's better balanced than missions that only seem to be the case in the begininning... once the missions unlocked most features of the game the scale seem to turn and Sandbox mode is getting more and more inbalanced

Ooops, this, sorry.

Yeah, you need an advanced brand, it's on every version.
In any case, you can always remove it later if you feel bad about it.

Hum, there's no need, the option to brand is always there.

What effect does branding have? And what's the difference to advanced brands?
It adds some extra options.
Useful for rebellious slaves.
Once you advance in story mode (the option is already unlocked on sandbox) you can change it into an advanced brand, which adds more options, for more rebellious slaves, or f you feel particularly nasty.
I think it adds a bit of stress and some ob/loy is lost, but is quickly regained.

That's for piercing I think, and tattoos.

Dunno about piercings, but tattoos are useful, as they add certain bonuses stackables between them (there's like half a dozen tattoos, each with its own bonuses. If you apply a single type to several parts of the body, the bonuses stack, creating "levels" of tattooing). And they stack with laboratory upgrades too.

I'm fairly sure I've seen advanced branding available during a sandbox game... might be old experience with an old version, though. But I've sworn off sandbox games just because, as someone else mentioned, the story events are kinda tightly integrated with some of the functions of the game that I'd rather be able to get to. Like that one shop I'm always complaining about.

Tattooing the magic tattoos on all but one part of your body will, I think, give you straight up +2 to your magic skill. I don't remember if the other ones are as useful or not.

The tattoos can do a bunch of stuff, you can choose different tattoos, with each part of the body only being allowed one. Iirc one of the effects is to increase beauty, one is to increase magic affinity and so on and so forth.

@Fuzzcat Thanks for the reply, I've never branded someone before.

Ok, I didn't noticed this, but... how in damned hell do I assign a headgirl?
I remember the option available on Jobs on older versions, but now I can't find it anywhere.
I'm playing V5.22 and sandbox mode, if that changes anything...

Yeah, all of them are useful, more considering they can stack.
The degrading one might be dangerous tho, since it build lust.

Np.
I barely use branding, since I'm not the type of cruel player, and because it doesn't adds much, just a couple options I don't care/like much. Originally was going to be more complex, but Mav changed it on the fly (as pretty much half the game lol), and left it simple.

I actually just spent like 10 minutes going through various menus and didn't find it either. I honestly think it's bugged, unless it's a feature I just don't have access to atm for some reason (I'm in story mode).

Edit: Just opened the game again and could do it. I'm playing 5.22b

Playing 5.22b too

Girl of rich rank, max Loyalty and Obedience, max stats, Executor specialization.

I do remember the specs, the thing is... were and how?
It's not that I can't meet the requirements... I can't even see them, since I don't see the option anywhere. It's really pissing me off.
