This is step by step what comes in the walkthrough from @Kertug so from now on each time anyone asks the same question I'll refer it to his walkthrough (I just had to check as so many people was asking for the same thing in this run I didnt trigger Marias night visits to your room once you go to sleep, but could play them with a savegame so the event is still there)
1. the morning after the day you help her sister check Marias's PC
2. in the afternoon, after school watch marias scene doing exercise in the living room
3. that same day at 24:00 watch tv in the living room (without interacting with Laura)-->here comes a long scene
4.check marias computer in the morning
5.wait till 0:00 and enter in the living room to see her doing exercise by night
6.on saturday or sunday (dont know it the event triggers on working days) enter the living room at 19:00 from the door on the right to see maria talking with a coworker (she really is your gym teacher but nothing has been said about that )
7.next day play console games in your room at 19:00
8. next morning check marias PC
9.that day at 19:00 go to marias room and speak with her
10.you can go to the beach on weekend now

They will keep asking anyway. Forever and ever.

so on day 39 after watching the gun deal with dad, i went to the school, did the whole principal/air vent stuff, talked to dr robinson outside my house. But everytime I go inside, at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, I can't find maria in the kitchen - she's in the laundry doing nothing for part of it and then after the "event" opportunity has passed she's in the dining room on her laptop. Have I missed something (playing version 2.0) or has her spawn locations changed?

Have you already advanced with Lauras quest? there is a switch on Lauras quest (when she uses your computer in your room) that when switched on bypasses Maria's scene in the kitchen, check here

you have to turn switch 1226 to "off" then you will be able to see Maria at the kitchen (remember to turn switch 1226 to "on" after not to mess with anything after!)

Hey! I checked the savegame! the problem is that switch 332 "Nadine en grupo" (Nadine is in the team/party) is on so you cant go out from the map. Your savegame will work if you turn that switch off, if you dont know how that switch has come on some other variables or switches could have been changed without you noticing so you can get into some other bugs, beware! try playing your savegame at your own risk or load another savegame of v1.9 complete from this forum (you can change your MC name to one of your liking check

You didn't understand anything:

1) Jet is still at her bookshop at 19-20;

2) you visited Jason, but it was too late;

3) you can't visit your classmates after 19.

4) you can visit Jet at 21

At night (19:00 or 20:00 hours and before 00:00) visit Jet at home. Jet lives in building number
1 of East Town enjoy the scene and Jet will ask you to help her. (here MY NEW LIFE WALKTHROUGH v. 1.9)

It may have something to do with MNL taking too much memory. Closing and restarting MNL may solve it. Or try use Spend Time in your Phone if it works and solves it. But there maybe other reasons too. Try Search if none of those work:

Not quite sure myself but try changing to a different job and switching it back.

well im through Maria... i listened to a guy who wrote to use walkthrough 1.9 from OP not the one included in the game... worked... difficult game, needs concentration not fapping whole the time lol after that, game getting smoother no stress lol
now im supposed to go to dinner with Sasha, sistern and her BF, im coming home, waiting in my room, , shes not there, but instead she call me at 22 and MC says that hes is sick and cant go... any ideas?

I simply don't remember which part this is. Is this after the party at Beth's house? Can you be a bit specific please. Or you can copy paste the walkthrough you're stuck at?

Wait until you transport to your room at 22:00. Sarah will be in your room and you will leave for your double date. (WARNING: This is your last chance to save before you have to make a choice that will impact the story line. I recommend you save on two different slots to cover both choices) f. On the date choose the correct drinks for each person. i. SHASHA: Vodka with Limon ii. ROGER: Beer iii. SARAH: COLA g. Choose to put the Xpowder in SHASHA's drink.

Sasha never show up, she calls and ask if MC is going to the restaurant, he goes - No....

i dont know what an MNL is and what do you mean with spend time on phone ?

In My New Life there's option in Phone to Spend Time playing a game which forwards time one hour. Which is also, sometimes, very handy problem solver for freeze and other glitches. Sometimes not always unfortunately...
