Lazy is when somebody asks for a save or CGs instead of playing.Let's not get carried away, there are some options but it would be a lie to say that there is "TON of them". Don't encourage laziness and stupidity.
I haven't been following this game for as long as @Fuzzcat but I have been playing RPGs since the original Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior, so I know to read everything that NPCs say, and given that I've gotten lost a couple of times. So it's understandable that sometimes people need to ask for help. Back in the old days, we had to shell out money to buy the game guide.Lazy is when somebody asks for a save or CGs instead of playing.
Stupidity is when somebody says a game is bad because it doesn't runs on his computer.
The guy was asking genuine questions, because he's new to the game.
Pretty much everything on screen is clickable. You can customize every single race, gender, sexuality and clothing. There are several maps, with innner maps. You can customize... well, basically everything.
So, there are a ton of options, it's no lie.
I've been following the game since it was a half-finished single map, and there were only 5 races, and currently I get lost at some points when not reading carefully, or checking specific options.
So it's pretty logic a new player would get lost before finding what to do. And he eventually did.
There was no need or use for your comment, really...
Lazy, becuase he could find it in a minute if he actually tried, which he did after posting that question.Lazy is when somebody asks for a save or CGs instead of playing.

Unbunch your panties and relax. Sometimes people miss even the obvious. I can't answer for @Fuzzcat but I was saying it's okay about his apology for the minor rant, not asking the question in the first place.Lazy, becuase he could find it in a minute if he actually tried, which he did after posting that question.
As for my comment... I am going to to say whatever I like, especially when it's asked about basic stuff like this and then you get string of people saying "it's okay". Behaviour like that encourages people to ask stupid questions which either has been answered two posts above their or ones to which answer can be found easily if you turn the god damn game on.
Not wanting to start anything here but based on your totally unnecessary comment, I'm guessing that you see requests for help and simply sit back and say 'fuck 'em, let them figure it out themselves'. In order to enjoy a game, one must be able to progress. When I ask for help it means that I've come to a point where I've searched a thread and found nothing. The next step is to politely ask, which is what I did. It has nothing to do with laziness or for that matter, being stupid.Let's not get carried away, there are some options but it would be a lie to say that there is "TON of them". Don't encourage laziness and stupidity.
Well, somebody is riding high on his horse...Lazy, becuase he could find it in a minute if he actually tried, which he did after posting that question.
Tons of races and clothing... Tell me, what's the difference between races? Because as far as I know it's just racial buff. Which cuts down "different" races down when you group up all these cats, dogs, demons and so on. There is no real difference between them.
Clothing... It's all the same except for set equipments, which provide set bonuses and usually have more slots for enchanting.
And lets be honest, it's nothing exceptional. After all is it dress them up game to bring up how much useless clothing there is?
But I will give it this one to you, there is ton of them.
Maps... there is what... 15 of them? With 4 big ones? Let's be honest these maps aren't even that hard to make.
Enchanting might have a lot of uses, but it comes down to: maximazing your stats and maybe changing your race to demon/slime.
I've been following game long enough to be confident in describing it in one word: Delayed.

I was thinking the same thing. However, the versions that have been released are "dev" versions, if I'm not mistaken, so maybe that's why they aren't being updated. It looks like we should be getting a brand new version, 0.3, on Friday, so maybe they are waiting for that to update.Hey, speaking of not furthering an argument over how much a "ton" is, who do we ping to get the OP updated? The thread title references an outdated version.
My understanding is that we need to ask staff members to update threads, though. I mean, I can't expect them to keep up with every new release of every game out there. But I hate initiating private communication with people on boards, and I feel like an ass when I "@" people.I was thinking the same thing. Don't worry about it when the new public version is released me or someone else will @ someone to update the OP for youMy understanding is that we need to ask staff members to update threads, though. Like you said, they are planning to drop a major version in the next two days. It's probably best just to wait until then before bothering anyone about updating a post--not the least important reason being that I don't have to try to figure out what I'm supposed to do in this situation. Never put off til' tomorrow what you can put off 'til the day after tomorrow, after all.
No difference in gameplay? They are the same. maybe it would be different if it wasn't text game, but that's not the case. That's what I have to say about races.Well, somebody is riding high on his horse...
If it comes down to your analysis/breakdown of the game, then any game has zero options, since... what's a game? A lot of numbers bunched in files? So, any game is equal to any other game, because they're just numbers doing stuff.
A wolfkin has x points to X stat, and a catkin has other X points to other X stats. If they had special skills (which it's planned), they'd still be X numbers doing X things. The point is that the player knows and plays as they're different.
Clothing is really easy to make, it's really low hanging fruit and shouldn't be considered a plus or minus. And since it seems like adding extra clothing is easy way to appease people like you.... expect more of it from future updates than real content.Clothing is all the same... well, of course, you're still dealing with numbers. What else you expect?
Says person who actually looked into it. Unlike you it seems. Or you are really bad at it, either way it doesn't matter.Maps aren't that hard to make? Says who? Someone that thinks everything is the same because it's just numbers?
You're all tall and pride talking about lazyness, stupidity and confidence, when evidently you didn't took a look at the code.
Delayed?
Instead of -precisely- being lazy, go and check the code. Just making a single piece of clothes is an astounding amount of coding, because all the variables. Because, precisely the huge amount of options.
Yeah, it seems like there is no point talking to you and I already regret wasting my time on this. Talking to a guy with cat as his profile picture was a mistake. Don't expect more answers from me and you are free to feel as if you won argument. There's no issues answering a simple question. It wasn't stupid or lazy.
On the other hand, you don't want to encourage lazyness and stupidity... but, you that don't bother to answer, took your time to write and reply twice, with no consistent or useful content. Might as well be kind and polite to say "just look at the buttons" or "look at the map", it would have saved some of your precious time and pride *shrug*
At least he wasn't too lazy to actually upload an image for his avatar, rather than just the default letter.Yeah, it seems like there is no point talking to you and I already regret wasting my time on this. Now, now. How do you know he doesn't have an avatar that just happens to look exactly the same as the letter, except offset by a few pixels thereby demonstrating nonconformance through an almost undetectable subversion of the norm? Don't repress his creativity. Or maybe he actually is the letter "J" in real life. Or maybe he's an alphabetic therian, and just really, really wants to believe that he's the letter "J." Or maybe the letter "J" just represents how he thinks about himself, like an umbrella with its top blown away by the cruel winds of the world. It could be really deep, y'know? Maybe his spirit animal is a green letter "J" because his vision was through the medium of some discount shaman operating out of a disused gas station. At least he wasn't too lazy to actually upload an image for his avatar, rather than just the default letter.
Love your work mateWell, somebody is riding high on his horse...

The only thing you should be confident, is your ability to keep doing meaningless posts, man.
