Lootboxes are not 'Findom'.
I think it's a form of gambling and scam. And many men are still... "boys" inside.
Every man has this little "brat" boy inside him who needs discipline.
Currently Findom has a bad reputation, since beautiful girls without any skill or ability just need to open their hands to get rich.
But Findom is actually beautiful. It has a true beauty. Here is what "Findom" means for me:
It's is messing up the mind of the sub to take away his "right" to possess his own money.
Dominating the financial aspect of someones life.
If a sub for example earns 2000$ every month for 1 year, and he gives me all the 2000$, and I pay his rent, I pay for his food, I decide everything he can eat, wear, smell, shave etc. I control his life. And he gets even extra-pocket money if he pleases me.
Now that "money" is mine. The 2000$ is mine. But also the responsiblity to pay for his rent and expenses is mine.
The same sub gets fired from his job because of corona: I still keep paying his rent, pay for his food, I decide where he must apply for a job, I decide IF he is allowed to work, or if he must do a course for example. I decide a lot of personal things - and this whole time I pay for him. For +2 years.
So that is still 3 years of financial domination for me. Even tho I lost money over the course of the entire 3 years.
I think I should offer this to people who are addicted to Gacha games for example.
Before you pay 1000$ 2000$ a month for a greedy company, who does not even give a shit about you, contact me.
This might be the intended form of Findom, since it actually sounds, in this way, like something that could properly benefit both parties, and not just in the fetish sense. Of course, for this, there has to be some amount of trust, to trust that your partner that controls your finances actually cares about you and has your best interests. This is most likely what would make the difference between your suggested form of Findom and the parasitic stuff you see being talked about in the mainstream, where the men simply get the humiliation and money loss aspect, but nothing else (basically losing money on an addiction, much like Gacha).
Considering this, I feel like going for straight Findom these days (which would mean going to the Mistresses specializing mainly in that) might not be the recommended way, and instead it might help to find a Mistress to first build trust with (through other forms of play), up until making the step of involving Findom, too. Especially since the Findom-focused market is currently rife with women ready to take advantage of men fully and without remorse, drowning out the women with genuine good intentions.
...To be fair though, Gachas might be bad, but really now, are you tellin' me I have to keep looking at my Valkyrie roaster and always see those 4-5 Valks that I don't own yet, and not do anything about it?

moderately addicted to gatchas, I spend the minimum amount of money only when I can maximize the chance of getting actual playable characters, and I ignore skins; gameplay-priority)
Not currently, but it's not totally cancelled.
I just don't have the coins to invest in a High Quality 3d project.
Especially now with AI and the technology I prefer to wait a few years anyway.
I think adding AI powered NPCs would be awesome, with the AI-Voice and all.
Also I want to do the animations myself with motion-capturing instead "by hand" only, saving a lot of time.
While AI is an extremely cool technology, and it's improving currently by impressive leaps and bounds, you'll still have to start learning how to use each tool&aspect about it when you'll want to use it (which also will include re-learning different programs when inevitably the AI will keep evolving, such as possibly switching Ai Art programs when others will become more powerful etc.)
Of course, it could still work, it all depends on you, it does sound like you'd want to make, in the future, quite a larger game, and you would need some nice capital for it (especially if you'd consider Motion Capturing too for it). Good luck raising it up until then tho!
