Others OverSoul [vPre-Alpha-4] [DAIMOND]
Just figured I'd report a couple of bugs here since I didn't see them addressed elsewhere in the thread or a new hotfix:
1. Attempting to speak to speak to the person you impregnated or were impregnated by causes the 'pregnancy reveal' option to hard lock the game and create some sort of infinite loop where the only text output is 'Placeholder' whenever the option is selected.
2. Greetings with shy characters, possibly others as well, spawns no text but does allow the game to proceed normally afterwards.
3. Occasionally, instead of greeting a character who has already been introduced to another, the introduction will read 'DIAMOND' instead of the name of the character being introduced. I... honestly can't tell if this is a bug/placeholder or an intentional greeting due to how it sometimes fits with some greetings and not with others.
Lastly, this isn't a bug per se, but is there any plans to create some store types with fixed stock pools? It personally took me a year's worth of month rerolls to get an engagement ring to appear in one of them, hence an earlier post of mine wondering where to find them. Maybe it was just my bad luck or some low odds of showing up in general, but I suspect I won't be the only one having this issue. I don't know how hard this will be to implement, but it will allow some features to be much more accessible now and in the future once combat is implemented so weapons and armor are guaranteed to spawn in at least one store per month.

Odd question, but is there an actual reason why I can't cheat on my partner despite taking the "disloyal" trait? I figured that would allow me to freely have sex with other characters while in a relationship, unless I'm just missing something

From my understanding, this is due to a bug mentioned on the previous page. If an NPC invites you to hangout, and you try to invite them, it'll cause their name to be replaced with "Relation" in your schedule, which will, for some reason, completely break the proceed button. Only workaround I've found is to just NOT invite people who've already invited you to hangout, as it will always break something.
Unless your bug is caused by something completely different, in which case I have no clue personally.

Super into the concept for the game - had a lot of fun even though it is still early dev. Hope you're able to keep passion for it, I'll be looking forward to any updates
is this game dead now seems to be a lot of games that get released then just sit about with no development

As previously mentioned, the game appears to be on hiatus for the moment. Nothing is currently certain about when or even if development will continue, so it very well may be dead for all we know, which would be incredibly unfortunate
can't proceed to the next month if i accept anyone for a hangout, breaking the save (because i didn't save before, because why should i)
It has been a few months now. I know the creator was taking a break for their mental health, but has anyone heard from them recently?

As far as I know, Dev is currently rebuilding the game from the ground up.
It's good to hear that they seem to be getting better. There is so much potential for this game I would hate to see it become abandonware.

He didn't here but he released an update on his discord.
He's still fixing some bugs but he's working on it.

After about 5 months, here's a new update and an official declaration that the game's still alive.
For details about what happened, here's what I said on Discord on New Year:
And here we are, almost 2 months passed since that post, and I finally finished rebuilding the game. This update fundamentally changed the structure of the game - it now allows you to change your schedule in the middle of the week/month, which means you can now go shopping and invite people to hang out every single day, rather than just thrice/once per month. Along with similar changes like that that I made to try to improve the gameplay experience.
But there are some things I decided to remove as well. These include character dialogue, which I felt was tedious and didn't achieve what I wanted it to. And the ability to propose to your partner + the marriage system altogether, as I felt that it should be given more importance and shouldn't be rushed (plus I just wanted to move on to something new already). It will be added later at the appropriate time.
As for the next update, I will FINALLY get to work on the combat & magic system. And it will come out in March. I will be posting the details on Discord soon. I will also be posting regular progress reports there as well. Feel free to come join it if you want to take a look, or if you have any bug reports, suggestions, questions, etc.

Potential bug report: You can't seem to run into people you've met before anymore. You have to invite them over to see them I believe. Either that or I was *incredibly* unlucky and never saw a single same person again after a good handful of weeks (months).
