Having followed the original project's development since 2013, I poked my head into this thread the other day and was impressed. There's a ton of content, polish, and overall ambition here, especially for a mod. I haven't been able to fully explore it all yet, or the thread, for that matter.

Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the mod at all, because those new voices killed my boner. Woof. Not a fan. Blaze especially, and she was my favorite.

Apparently I'm in the minority on this, which I guess makes sense since I'm a boomer with a fondness for the 2000s-era cast. But it honestly ruined the whole thing for me.

Could an update include a toggle for the original voices? Or, failing that, is there a way I could change them back myself?

Hmm, well, adding more options to the menu is not that easy, as it would require me to create the menu from scratch rather than using the engine one. The only idea I have is maybe to somehow tell the program to download the audio for the character from another folder besides the data, which would allow other users to put their audio versions, without unpacking the pak file. But I'll have to see if that's even possible first.

I tried using the PakExplorer tool, replacing the .wav files with ones from an older version. But the game wouldn't open. Even PakExplorer couldn't open the new .pak file it itself had made, saying it was "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream."
