Hello, just downloaded the game.
After some time my brain switched into "Watching anime" mode, so i failed the very first choice. The time to choice an option was so short i was unable to switch back to "game mode" in time. XD
Is there an option or a patch in order to increase the time or to disable the fucking timeout??? I just want to enjoy the scenes without worring about stupid timeouts.
Please, help me.
UPDATE: Forget it people, the damn thing crashes at random times and it is the worst optimized game i ever played. Even with the update installed.
Don't download this one, it is not worth your time.

I can't even install it because the installer keeps freezing at 80-90%. Maybe because I'm on windows 11?
You should try Shiny Days. It is similar to this game but set in an alternative universe/story. That one work fine for me on win 11, no crash or anything.
Can anyone help me, Ive played the game before, like long time ago, i uninstalled the game a while ago and deleted all the files. Now im trying to play it again, downloaded the game again, mounting the first disk and clicking Setup.exe, in the install windows, i dont get the option to install(its blurred out) its only giving me the option to uninstall and game start, none work, what can I do, ive been looking for solution but nothing comes up.

Nothing, when I clock uninstall it gives me an option to do it, and when I do it nothing else happens, the window appears again, and it lets me install the game, but it doesnt work, it only creates a JAST folder with nothing in it
Oh there is definitely ntr - Sawanaga would try to get either Sekai or Kotonoha depending on your choice. There are multiple Sekai/Setsuna endings that implying Kotonoha and Sawanaga didn't even break up after, just that the detail wasn't being elaborated in the ending.
I guess the logic behind it was to simulate the real social scenario - which you have to respond within the reasonable time - or being silent at all - which was also one kind of response. And going through the game in this way, it could really simulate the real respond from the player depending on what kind of the person you are - instead of giving responses after giving you time to ponder or looking back the dialogue in God mode.
With that being said, I do agree they could put an option in the setting letting users avoid timeout, or just make it another button of "...".
Replaced my save file with this one and all sound is gone including bgm. Also some scenes are missing.
crappy installer shows you that it fails to install... this is a strange issue... because all the files are there and the game launches fine. weird.

I had the same issue and what worked was literally copy/pasting the game folder from the loaded the ISO file instead of going through the installer. Result was a perfectly working game folder.

After watching that damn anime....all I can say is everyone is shit and the only real victim there was Kotonaha
Now I get to finally play this VN and the first thing I wanna say is I'm extremally impress that it plays like a show but with your choices instead of the standard pictures.
I really hope more VN do something like that

Well this is your chance to influence Makoto's choices and do right by Kotonoha this time around. Also Setsuna's way less malicious here than in the anime. She's really nice and just wants to help Makoto make the right choice for himself instead of pressuring him in any direction. You should definitely play Shiny Days after for her route. it also has a few more adorable Kotonoha endings.
But as this game is almost 20 years old at this point unfortunately not many companies followed this style of game. Probably just too expensive and might as well make an anime at that point.
Windows -> Regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software then Find either or both JAST USA & Overflow file, and delete it. Afterwards try re-installing it again
I had issues installing the game too and what worked for me was instead of installing it normally, I just mounted the iso files and copied the entire School days folder from both discs over to my hard drive. Entire game works perfectly fine by doing that. No waiting for any weird buggy instal menu or blacks screens because it didn't install properly.
