As with every game from this Dev I feel the end result would be better if he was the ideas guy setting the broad strokes of the game and left balancing progression to someone less player-hostile and programming to a team that gets shit done in less glacial pace. Alas, solo indie dev is what we have, in good and bad.

It's a shame that these games that have plenty of cool concepts in theory in practice end up being mind-bogglingly grindy even with cheats enabled and have absolutely no respect for the player's time. When the consistent feedback for years has been that the games are flatout too grindy and every recommendation is to not play without cheats it really should tell the dev something.

The only saving grace is that the actual content behind the grind-wall is mostly enjoyable and entertaining. The (nigh-)complete lack of competition for this kind of game also helps.

The pity is that with barely 700 patrons I don't think he'll have enough to eat from the game, let alone hire a team of 5 to help him...

The die rolling and picking in the morning can be somewhat excused (even if they just work to extend the grind and thereby "play time"), same dialogue every morning and evening is just dumb and adding hours of reading the same text again.

It wouldn't be so bad if the GUI was a bit better optimised. It seems to take a half second to a second to go from messagebox to messagebox or screen to screen. For a game with as much clicky-click-click as this one, that's a long time.

Add to that the dice rolls making the simplest actions failable, and Baal's love of penalizing the player for experimenting and ... I'll come back in a year or so. I don't have time for this right now.

It's no fun, it's only a tech demo, but it's all very slow and saved games can no longer be loaded under the Windows version, at least 90% of the time it's a black screen

just open the save file [ ..\Users\Name\AppData\LocalLow\Night City Productions\SuperPowered2 ]
Then open ur save file with notepad and change whatever u want

yeah, this is pretty bad atm ngl. how is this thing 4gb+ with almost no content? it doesn't even look THAT great and the performance is also kind of iffy with a strange/weird stuttering/delay when navigating the menu. the ui is also frankly atrocious. it's absolutely clunky and unintuitive. also seriously fuck the new gameplay system and the retarded amounts of grind I hope to god it gets changed. not going to get into the story yet since it's pretty early.

No, it's just a portable monitor with a matte IPS display. I've never seen this happen before with any other game or application. The burn-in area did eventually fade away, so I tested the game again and it happened again. Same exact spot too (where the game version # is shown). Very strange.

if you go to moms room at night the only way to leave is to masturbate theres no option to return to your room, also only autosave works if i load a save leads to black screen.
