Seeing people like the game as a baseline MTL is a reasonable motivator for translators picking it up too.

Honestly, every MTL that comes out is the same complaints repeated over and over for the first few pages of every thread. I don't get it. Nothing new is being said here. No one likes the MTL, but it's better than nothing, and F95zone is a much more reliable source for downloads than anything else I've found. Next best is hentaibedta, and that's still untranslated Japanese games yoinked off dlsite and split into chunks of Zippyshare downloads behind pages of link shorteners and ads.
Would strongly beg to differ there.

I don't touch MTLs at all because as you (and much of the community) have said, "it's better than nothing." The issue is that there's two contrasting viewpoints that people share, which is: 1.) I want this game translated now, so I don't care that it's MTL, and 2.) This MTL is poetry, is broken, or introduces some sort of problem/bug with the game, so now I want it translated.

What that tells an actual fan translator (and not the people who claim to be translators by dumping games into MTool/BepinEx/T++) is that the community doesn't care about their efforts and is fine with MTL. Honestly, it seems like half the people here, based on their ability to string together cogent or coherent sentences, are ESL speakers and can't understand a true translation anyway, so MTLs might just be okay with them. Therefore, it's in both the community and the translator's interest to avoid wasting time in something the community is seemingly content with, and instead to focus on a completely untranslated game to translate. Sure, nobody "likes" an MTL, but not only is it easier to produce, but it's also "acceptable" for many folks. And if you're thinking there no harm in MTLs, it's discouraging to translators, at least for me, in picking them up. That's why the same complaints get repeated over and over again - Because people don't understand how MTLs fully affect the community, as they're only focused on what they're getting as instant gratification.

The community needs to be more united on what they want. If y'all want MTLs, that's totally fine. If not, the trade-off is that y'all need to wait patiently since fan-translations take time (like months), meaning the newest games shouldn't be expected to be translated immediately. We're also not robots. We can only really work on one at a time, and we have lives outside of this since it's a hobby not a real job (hence the "fan" part of fan-translators). And it's always nice to know you're appreciated, even if it's not with a monetary contribution.

Anyway, I already had this in my "to-translate" folder, but yeah, I've got so many translations to work on that I'm sorta glad this is MTLed. If people keep complaining, I'll take a look and see how long it'll take to translate.

It released on the 30th of April. How the fuck are you going to make a non-MTL translation in less than a week?
Easy:
Don't vomit out a bad MTL at all.

MTL hurts a games chance of getting picked up by real translators cause it "was already translated".
Not to mention game breaking bugs and non translated arts diminish the rating of such games, further decreasing a real translation.
The only bad MTL games I have seen that still got properly picked up were so good that even MTL couldn't ruin their scores.
This is an average game with good CGs. Not enough to survive MTL "translated" status.

A lot of the text just stays on one line and goes out of the text box. Probably missing a fair chunk of actual lore and dialogue in a lot of cases. Only two minutes in and the majority of text has done this.

Also, MTL so very consistently screws up "He" and "She". Like Astrid the Succubus looking at the Huge-Tits-Knight Protagonist and saying, "What's with this guy? I knew he wasn't a normal adventurer, but he was too strong..."

It's just so commonly broken in this way. It's kinda jarring that it's also consistent

It’s a pity that it’s so short, I’m glad that there is so much freedom with the hero, but at the same time, 15 minutes of the game and the end ....

Should be tagged NTR because while skipping through I coulda sworn that Karla/Carla stated that she had a husband while she was with the blacksmith.

EDIT: What he said
The blacksmith IS her husband and he have particular fantasies so I don't think the game need a NTR tag

Oh. Well, the MTL didn't really help convey that XD
Still a cheating tag then? There's the dude in the alley, whether or not that's Netorare or Netorase...

From what I'm reading here, the MTooled version must actually be superior to this MTL.
After all, this was very clear to me. The husband is into getting cucked.

Also ... properly TLed menu :sneaky: (excluding picture stuffs of course).

I am definitely sick of people complaining about mtl. It's like 5sec to click on a game see that it's mtl and click out if you aren't into it. God forbid you waste your time when PIRATING a game. Then you people have the nerve to say it's going to make translators not want to translate the game. As if there was ever enough translators in the first place. Do you know how many hgames come out every day, not to mention the absolute mountain of old games. chances are it wouldn't have been translated at all like 95% that come out. You are all a bunch of parasites (as am I), you don't get to complain about the injustice of the free games any more then a tapeworm get to complain about whether the person they are in is eating junk food.

Move along if you don't like something. Or better yet, learn Japanese and start your own Translation service (then get people complain to you that you are not translating the right thing).

I think complaining about unreadable text, MTL or not, is perfectly valid. Its not a matter of piracy, its a matter of wasting peoples time. Also, alot of people (me included) will buy games they like and apply translations to the product. This site is also an excellent site for discussions about games of this type.
