Over time, will it be possible to have a romantic relationship with Rex? Do we meet Damedos, Cynthia again? Last question, if we stay with Lasander in the river, is there a chance of Selene getting pregnant? And will we meet Lasander later in the game?

I plan on encounters with some of the characters from the first chapter. But who it will be and when I can't say. Firstly, plans can always change if I see that this would be for the better. And secondly, that would be such a nasty spoilers...

As for the pregnancy, it's a random-based mechanic. The protagonist can get pregnant after any ejaculation inside. Or not. Random as it is.

question about the pregnancy, will it be new path (pregnant path) or just the same linear path with some flavor text

I don't think you need to worry about that. Current development pace is 1-2 in-game days updated about 4 times a year IRL. With the current pace it will take about 10 years IRL before the MC with notice anything definite (middle of first trimester in a world without pregnancy tests), and around 70 to 140 years IRL for the MC to give birth in-game :)

Unless of course the story speeds up either by skipping days or have way less happen every day. But Dev probably won't talk about that, he doesn't like spoiling anything at all.
Not that I mind at all, I'm just saying that realistically it won't matter unless drastic change of pace happens, which the Dev won't reveal ahead of time.

i remember when this game had frequent updates
Careful, that's a short step from accusing the dev of milking the patreon. Before this thread turns into another shit-fest of claims of poor practice, all other logical explanations must first be exhausted.

As games become more complex, the slower updates will come. That's the natural progression. If a VN branch splits two ways every update starting with v0.2, there would be 256 branches and variations the developer has to write by v0.9 - basic Fibonacci Sequence.

Then you also have to take into account situations you can't plan for: burnout, PC issues, illness, and personal life problems.

Not sure how to answer this without revealing too much too soon... Will there be changes in the text, like pregnant/not pregnant? Sure thing. Will there be separate scenes for pregnant Selene? You bet. Whether it can be called a "pregnant path" - I have no idea. Depends a lot on what you mean and imagine by that.

Whoa, whoa, easy. Hmm... Too late, now I'm sad...

If you're really interested to know, old plans are still in effect, I'm going to reveal whether or not Selene is pregnant either at the end of this chapter or the beginning of the next. Narratively, this will be done via a time skip of 1-2 in-game months, with descriptions of various (mostly routine) events. As well as Selene's realization of her pregnancy (if it happened).

Working out each in-game day in current events is essential. When I need to, I'll just "skip" forward in time with a brief description of what happened in the intervening time. Just like the small (one in-game week) time skip at the beginning of Chapter 2.

There was a sickness in Dec, but basically, this update sets the anti-record for the longest development time due to the overly complicated movement system in this episode. Text games just aren't designed for it... Or my brains... Or both...

Finished a pretty varied sex scene today. Two days of just transferring text from draft to game. And coding. There's no more energy left for testing, I'll do it tomorrow. I hope I didn't make too many mistakes... And until the end of the episode (update) are still left with a lot of things that need to be done. And I'm not going to move the date from March 31... Nope. Anyway... What are we talking about?

Online link:
There's even a mobile version. By the way, I don't plan to do online and mobile versions. So if someone is more comfortable playing from a tablet/phone - you might be interested.

The only thing is, I'm not quite sure about the ability to transfer saves between different devices. I don't have a tablet or a suitable phone to check. In theory, "save to disk" should work on all devices, and if you transfer such a file, say from a tablet to a PC, it should work just fine. But I'm not sure and it would be really nice if someone could confirm or deny this.

Uhm... Hey! Hi everyone: the lonely wolf here ;-). Hehe!+! I pass quickly and unexpectedly, just to say that I too found this story of transferring backups very intriguing. I imagine that a suitable application and a simple usb cable should do the trick?+? In fact I would have liked to do the test myself but (alas)...... It turns out that I'm in the opposite situation to yours D.E. |--> Because yes, I do have well a smartphone and a tablet, but not the slightest PC (desktop or laptop) to check it that riddle! In short, all that to say that if a charitable (and above all well equipped) soul could come and enlightening our poor lanterns, that would be super cool!+! P.S./ Especially for Jack the flake: you my guy, you're not joking, yup you're simply a good one ;-).

why the fuck does it take so long to make an update for a HTML game???
If I'm not mistaken dude, your question reflects a certain impatience, right;-? First of all (even if I'm clearly not a specialist in the matter), the fact that we are talking about an HTML game here doesn't INEVITABLY imply that an update be <laid like an egg> always at a monthly or bimonthly pace, isn't it?&? But of course if you think I'm wrong, no problems: give me just some counter-examples because I'll be really curious to know more on this subject. Either ways, the developer has already explained the causes for the deadline actually! Also, if you haded taken two minutes to take a look at the Dev's Patreon page; indeed you'll might finding your answers over there... However, I can understand why does that question you at this point, so here it is what I can answer you my bud: 1/ The author unfortunately fell ill last December, which therefore logically slowed down the production of the current update of approximately one month. 2/ The new update could have been published last month, exept that a vote of patrons in favor of a more complete version decided otherwise;- ) 3/ And ABOVE ALL an *advanced freedom of movements system* will be included in this new version (1.7). Something which, according to Defiant Explorer explanations, is an additional creative process that seems precisely complicated to reconcile with our good old HTML5 games. Finally, I will simply add that I very agree with the opinion expressed by cd13;-(y) ). There you go, I'm now finished and hope to have given you suficiently informations somedud3. Ok guys and gals, see you later then.

I’d also like to remind people…he’s living in an ongoing war zone.

Case in point, todays Patreon post.

Update 1.7 may come out sooner, but that's not good news.

To help you understand my current state, I will describe my last few days. First of all, and this is not the main reason, I got sick again. Fortunately, this crap only hit me hard on the first day but it started getting weaker the next day. Nevertheless, for almost three days I ate nothing and slept most of the time, completely weakened. My appetite partially returned only yesterday evening. I ate a little, regained a bit of strength, and went back to work (testing the last piece I added to the game a few days back) until about ~ 4 am.
Now begins the main reason for this post. When I finished work, I had a little snack (yay!) and quite pleased with myself went out to the balcony to satisfy a nasty habit of mine. I live on the top floor of a high-rise and half of the city is visible from my window - all the way to the horizon. There was some strange humming, unclear where it was coming from. Taking a cigarette out of the pack, in my mind was something like that: "okay, losing three days is unpleasant, but I can still make it in time..." Flash on the horizon. Four or five seconds of silence. A shockwave that makes the whole house shake. And then a few more times. Flash. Silence. Shockwave. And then the lights in the whole city go out. Darkness up to the horizon.
"You fucking kidding me." Yeah, I said it out loud at that moment. Well, not in English of course, but that's pretty much close by meaning. There hasn't been a missile strikes on the power system in nearly a year. I'd almost forgotten about them. But here we go again...
The lights come back only around 3:00 p.m. How long it stays like this, I don't know. And I guess you could say I'm lucky. As I write this, it's already dark outside. And only parts of the city have light. But you've just gotten a description of what modern warfare looks like through the eyes of an eyewitness! I also don't know if this was a one-time action, like "today only - two Russian missiles for the price of one" or if the strikes on the energy system will continue.
But grim jokes aside. I've made a decision. The update is ~90-95% complete. Given the circumstances, I'm not sure I can meet the 31 March deadline. Or even if I do, who knows if I'll have the technical ability to post the update by that date. Today I'll bring the small remaining section from the draft into the game, test it, and start the prep work for technical readiness for release (new patrons to credit section, afterword, list of changes, etc.) Yes, it doesn't end up where I want it to. Yes, it's only basically tested (by my standards). And a lot more of those yeses... But I just don't know what to do. If it hadn't taken so long to develop this episode, I might have asked for extra time from you. But not this time.
I don't really believe that I won't have electricity problems in the coming days. And that's at best. Which means I won't be able to work normally. At least on a tight deadline. Of course, if I'm wrong, I'll try to get the episode to its intended point. But if there's another blackout or any kind of light outage - I'll post a prepared version of the update right away, while I have a charge and crappy mobile internet. Otherwise, this all risks dragging on for who knows how long. And I apologize if the episode doesn't end where it logically should. I know... I just can't see a better way.
And, hey, Universe? Veeery funny.
