Fixed that for you. I know some would continue to bitch and moan even if Mo communicated perfectly with the community, but for me the problem stems from the fact that Mo set a release date (to his credit, he said it might be a day or two late) and then vanished without a trace before that date was hit. Maybe he's working hard af to get it out. Maybe some serious life shit came up and he can't work on it for the foreseeable future. Maybe he got bored and said screw it. Whatever happened, *communication* would quell so much frustration. Something as simple as "Sorry, don't expect for the next week. x/y/z came up." would be more than enough and would take less than 2 minutes.

This is not being entitled. This is asking for the absolute minimum.
if you in any way did anything other than just download it i agree, the minimum is getting nothing at all if its free then there is no rights to complain

Sorry to bring a downer to the festivity, But I personally think that half the reason that games go past expected release dates is
1. un realsitic release dates (its done when its done)
2. as above but when people try to add too much content in short spaces of time
3. 'fans' of the game wanting everything but not donating to the cause
4 the same people who critise when it is released but cant do better themselves

in short get what you are given when you are given it its a free game not hidden behind a patreon paywall, so spamming this page really doesen help anyone who's put it on a watch list

good luck mo & team i personally would make em wait another month lol
I reckon that Australia's drought and Mojo's work are larger factors.
It probably would have been early if Mojo's laptop hadn't broke.

the reason that games go past expected release dates is
Weg developers don't know how to manage time and resources, they are playing it by ear and have nothing but a vague idea of where they want their game to go. They expect to make a living out of patreon instead of allocating the money to the games themselves.

Case in point, Fenoxo makes $30000 a month, most of his content is written by other people for free and he spends most of his time "reviewing submissions" instead of finishing the story he set out to tell.

Considering he hasn't posted to his Patreon since May 2, more than two weeks ago, it doesn't seem like being a patron makes you any more important to him.

Honestly, I think everyone needs to calm down. 1.26 is still perfectly viable and while the extra goodies for 1.27 would be nice. It doesn't change enough to be pestering Mo or anyone else about the update. If your like me, you get email notifications that someone has replied to the thread and checking back 10 or 12 times a day to see people angry because it hasn't been released yet is irritating.

He will finish when he finishes, life sometimes happens. And having to postpone due to lack of a computer, or lack of money to have internet, or any other vast variety of things could of happened. And being patient is the fastest way to get what we all want.

I agree with sly. There's plenty of porn fish in the sea that is the internet. No need to post a new comment every single time you check the forums. It'll drop when it drops. There's nothing we can do to speed it up.

while you make a very valid point, i must refuse on the grounds that this is the internet and there are rules, and the rules state that we must complain.

Some of you people need to take it down a notch, with this "holier than thou" attitude. Sure, there's a couple of comments by impatient people, but the majority of them are clearly made in good fun. No one is bashing Mo for not having the update out yet. We're allowed to comment.

I'm checking this thread regularly like you all, and I too am now commenting for the first time purely because I know it will annoy someone. Also to say that this mod is excellent work, and I'm looking forward to eventual release of HL3... sorry, 1.27.

This update's been in the works for a while yeah? I've been looking forward to it myself for about a month I think. Can anyone explain to me why my own checking of this thread gets more and more frequent? I think I started off at about once per week, but now I can't even tell you how many times I've hit the refresh button -today-.

Long as I'm here, love this mod, its the reason I created an account here. As long as we're all hanging about, can anyone recommend similar works?

Orange Trainer is a similar game. Star wars parady. Its actually fun and entertaining, not nearly as polished, and still has a lot of "Not in yet" scenarios, but its a pretty good game. Its art style is hit or miss, some quite nice, some kinda lacking. Lots of potential though.

Cohabitation is also a fantastic trainer/corruption game. It's 3dcg instead of hand-drawn but it's got great writing and the scenes are hot as fuck. You should play it, even if you don't normally get into 3dcg games. I don't usually get into them either but there are a few really great exceptions and this is one of them.

(I know it says its an RPGM game but the engine has been gutted. It's more like Ren'Py than RPGM, there are almost zero RPGM features in this game. It isn't even tile-based. Seriously, just play it. It'll tide you over until Silver 1.27 comes out.)

How does one activate some of the events? Like for example the one in the screenshots where Snape fucks Hermoine. Does it happen when I've shared enough of Dumbledore's wine?
