What's the worst adult game you've played?

Any japanese game, their writing and characters are soulless. Zero ability to write a coherent character that interacts with others in a believable manner. The art compliments those issues in addition to being censored.

Theres some incredibly unoriginal western/russian games that the more you play you just see elements stolen from others games except everything's worse and less thought out like Muplur's korra game or any of the Big Brother clones.

Then theres titles that revolve around pleasing specific fetish the author has and anything that falls out of that requirement is secondary. Like Snow Daze being about silly costumes for some fucking reason or Dune requiring every woman to have DD+ breasts because the author was sexually abused by her large breasted aunt as a kid.

Really? Every Japanese game?
Then you really didn't play more than 3 or 4 games. Ever heard of Cartagra/Kana no Shojo series? Grisaia? Olde classics like: True Love, Season of Sakura, Divi Dead (my precious)...?

The recurring issues with jap VN's is the writing is designed to waste your fucking time, the dialogue is utterly boring tripe about mundane things in order to push the gameplay hours to justify the 40$ price tag. The art is very bad, girls are distinguished by rainbow colored hair, everyone has identical body to everyone else with no muscle toning as the artist didn't learn to draw human anatomy in favor of anime style and that very specific coloring style you always see - once you've seen one anime girl naked you've seen them all.
The only jap games I've spent any real amount of time on had good enough gameplay to carry it while ignoring the trope characters and shit porn.

This is tough, seriously tough. One because it's hard to remember the names and 2 because there are so many that are exactly the same it's hard to pick one to call out.

You know the type, Japanese RPG with a female MC that has a badass title and made out to sound tough like she could decimate an army of demons.

Then she gets to a town/dungeon and turns into a raped cum dump within half an hour.

I don't hate them because they are insulting to women, it's porn everyone gets mocked at some point in porn, it's more how shit it all is. We all know as soon as we see the cover she's not going to be badass. Doesn't matter what back story they give her, as soon as a cock/tentacle is within 5 feet she's forgetting how to swing that sword, we've seen it a thousand times before.

There is my biggest problem, there are so damn many of them and they don't tend to be very good games.

It's not even the rape that puts me off. Rance rapes his way round women like he's fucking candy but I love those games. Bunny Black is a rapetacular fest of rapeyness but those are 2 of my favourite dungeon crawlers.

What twists my nipples is they are shit games. They only make any money because of the scenes, the actual RPG side is always terrible. Low effort, basic shit.

There are some great RPG's out there with rape scenes, play any of those, don't insult yourself with this cheap crap.

But, back on the topic.
I really don't know any bad game I played simply because I forget about them. There are some games I tried and English was so bad I sent them to recycle bin immediately, but maybe they were good in their native language?
It's hard to say.

But, there are a few infuriating games out there - infuriating for different reasons:
one of them has MC holier than Pope and bunch of suicidal-depressing characters,
another one is two-year-old-scam with nice arts and nothing else,
the third one started as a nice little story and then everything went to Hell with the story - I blame LSD,
the fourth was my favourite game and then came Patreon with new rules and dev couldn't salvage it (but I really don't blame dev for that),
the fifth is a great game, but dev decided to include "good, old" pixel hunting from 90's as some sort of "mini-games",
the sixth is so ridiculous (although started as simple and good incest game) that after the whole police story arc, I expect werewolves, aliens and Gandhi fighting zombies...

And so on...

It's hard to tell what the worst games I have played are, as my brain seems to block any memories of them out, in order to protect my sanity. 2 games I remember though, would be:

Because the visuals are horrible, the characters are completely uninteresting and the story is horribly uninspired.

Because it has (or maybe not anymore, cause the dev talked about fixing it) the WORST and most BORING ASS grind ever. Big brother ain't got nothing on this bad boy. You literally started the game by grinding for 30-60 minutes, doing the same (terrible) minigame over and over, without being able to have ANY interactions with the rest of the characters in the game, until after the initial grind was over. It was a HORRIBLE game mechanic, and it removed any interest I might have had for the rest of the game.
Didn't help that the visuals were mediocre at best and that the story didn't seem to have a golden narrative to it. "Boring chaos" is probably how I would describe this mess.

There have been many more games, other than these 2, but thankfully I can't remember much about them.

Absolute Power.

Seriously, this game has a fine premise, it's essentially Dreams of Desire. But the developer was fucking shit. It starts off fine, introduces you to it's "mind control" format, gives you a cast of characters to like, some of whom I did, others I was more meh about, but that's usually how I am with casts. Then it just brings everything to a dead stop and forces the worst grind I've seen in a game to date. Even though it's a game with fucking mind control you have to go and influence their mind I think daily? It's been a while, slowly but surely unlocking new content. But the process by which you go through affect their mind, get them closer and closer, is so repetitive that even the sexual rewards become mundane. Other games have this problem, Big Brother, Man of the House, but none were as bad as Absolute Power, which has no excuse for having worse grind than those two which are Incest, but without the power to bend others to your will.

I try to avoid games that look absolutely terrible. The one I remember pissing me off the most was Fashion Business (RPGM version). You spend forever getting told what a bitch the main character is, it's really hammered in. Now I think some of this was to set up individual cases of karma coming back to bite her, but it still just drags on. At one point you have to go find 35 (I think) collectibles just to prove what a bitch you are. Then you hit the point in the game where she loses everything and it's just nonsense. I don't think it's supposed to be set in a real place, but the legal system wherever it is, is a joke. Beyond that, it does the classic RPGM thing of making you walk from one side of the map to the opposite and back. You often go places just for nothing to really happen, which would be fine if you didn't have to actually walk there in RPGM. (To be fair, he switched it over to Ren'Py, but I haven't played that version.) Other minor things, like wasted opportunities. At one point she is only wearing an overcoat (I honestly forget why) and it barely comes into play. I thought there'd be some accidental flashes or public humiliation, but it's very minor. At another point she puts on some clothes she stole from a slut. So the premise, as I recall, was she was showering and a bunch of guys came into the shower, so she ran away. You get outside and it's something like "I guess I grabbed all these clothes as I ran past" or something dumb like that. Ultimately, there was barely any sexual content for the MC in the version I played as well and it was over 1.5G.

I like the premise of a fall from grace and karmic revenge, but it is executed so terribly that it just pissed me off. I hope the Ren'Py version salvages the game, but my initial play of it really soured me on giving it another try.

I pretty much don't like any RPGM game or shitty no-effort Daz3D VN. One game in particular that I really disliked was Chloe18. It's a corruption game that doesn't give you many choices. In the first half hour, you go from a shy girl to someone who's fucking a stranger in public, and you don't get any choice in the matter. I'm not sure if it stays that linear; I stopped playing after that.

Sword Princess Fine.

First 5 minutes in you're thinking "Okay, potentially a decent story RPG in the works" and then you get out of the tutorial and it takes a massive dive in quality and a bad taste in your mouth.

I found the Legend of Queen Opala (The first one, I never even bothered with Number 2 or Origins) to be an absolute fucking borefest. A small number of scenes and several pieces of art (Which varied from piss poor to alright) hidden behind a grinding bore of a game. Also I found the VA to be insipid and just generally poor. Which could be forgiven if it didn't occur during those hentai scenes.

Honestly most RPG Maker games I tend to avoid nowadays because most of them are just shit grindfests for little payoff, but Legend of Queen Opala just stands out because of how much people seem to love it. Like yeah I love the design of the main characters but fuck me rigid at least give them an entertaining game and not a cookie cutter RPG Maker borefest.
