I've dated, and even married some of the most powerful women in the world. The one thing that they have most in common is daddy issues, and a deep desire to be put in their place that goes beyond fantasy. A common human failing maybe. But human nature? I don't think so. It's not so much what you don't have, but what you don't have and think you need or have been taught to want. Otherwise we wouldn't find, for example, that low material inequality can have more of an effect on happiness than the actual level of material wealth.

So many tropes, not enough time lol.
I'll split my entries to this list into two categories: Tropes that are overdone to hell and back, and tropes that seem to be just poorly understood, since they wind up being just as much a boner-kill as the overdone ones.
Some of the overdone big ones that boner-kill me faster than most are:
- Dude has a horse cock. Not only is that shit beyond unrealistic, it's fucking disgusting to look at. Most dicks are like 5 inches long, and maybe 2 inches around. Is it too much to ask to have an MC with a normal dick?
- Beach ball tits/Always perky tits, no matter the size. I get that fake tits are a thing, though I much prefer natural. It seems a lot of devs have forgotten natural tits exist, though. Show big boobs some proper love.
- Girl becomes a complete cockwhore slut the second she sees a dick. Like, seriously, natural progression is a thing, for starters, never mind this rendering entire characters as nothing more than a cocksleeve with no life or personality.
- Everyone wants the MC's dick. It's off-putting in the extreme. More competition between different girls, jealousy when they find out you're banging another chick or five, and the odd girl who is a cast-iron bitch to get into bed, or outright rejects you, all add more depth to the world. Yeah, we're here to fap. I get that. I just want characters with a bit more personality than "MC has dick. Must jump on dick now. Declare MC dick best dick ever. Repeat. Hurr Durr."
- Daddy died/MC moved home for the first time in years/most other "Dad is no longer in the picture." I get it. This is porn. Societal norms kind of play second fiddle to fapping. That said, can we maybe explore other avenues to getting it on with family? Slowly breaking Mom/Sis' taboos while simultaneously wooing them, dealing with other love interests out there (seriously, it's been years, how has Mom literally not gone looking again? Sis just graduated high school, yet never had a boyfriend?), and all the other nuances of romance would be nice to see, too. Dovetails with Mom/sis seeing son's dick and going head over heels for it.
- Settings. I occasionally stick my nose into Chaotic's website, just to see what he's making. Every so often, he'll run a poll for the setting of an upcoming game. Things like "strip club" and "beach" seem to be constant winners. While I get the draw of settings like those, they've been done to death. So has "school" and "office." There's plenty of other places to explore out there. Woods, parks, libraries, banks, movie theaters (dunno how more games, especially those in the exhibitionism category, don't manage to use theaters) and many other mundane places are begging to be explored for various shenanigans. Use them.
- Exhibitionism must lead to rape. This is just as bad as girls becoming cockwhores as soon as a dick is out. These two aren't intrinsically tied to each other, yet porn games seem to just think naked chicks in public must lead to rape. How about meeting a dude who is surprised, maybe even shocked, to catch her naked/flashing/whatever, and seeks to befriend her instead of forcibly taking her? Or maybe you notice the exhibitionist tendencies in a female character, and set out to get her number.
- Stairway to heaven/Dream sequences. Not only is the stairway to heaven a completely made-up progression, it's all too commonly used to justify ridiculous grindfests, hiding the lack of actual content in a game. Tack on a crappy dream sequence for a sex scene to justify that Patreon, and you're all set to abandon yet another v0.1 Alpha in a few months. The ones that make it past an alpha usually wind up poorly coded, with several of the other tropes seen in this thread.
Poorly-done tropes:
- BDSM. It's either super-light, or so unrealistically hardcore that even 50 Shades of Grey pales in comparison. Also comes with a near-mandatory non-consensual angle. There's a whole lot of kink play that sits between those two extremes, and BDSM is by nature consensual. I wish more games would explore those angles of the kink, instead of tacking it onto non-con by default.
- Foot fetish content. I have a foot fetish. There's far, far more to it than footjobs and being trampled. Again, I wish more aspects of it would be explored, versus just tossing a footjob scene into the game to add that extra tag. It's not even terribly hard to add a lot of the smaller aspects. Things like shoeplay can fit into lots of scenes that focus on other kinks without even needing dialogue to make it work.
- The sexually repressed schoolgirl, BFF who can't tell you her feelings, etc. Some would say they're flat out overdone. They're grounded in reality, though, to some extent. They also make a great canvas for kinkier shenanigans. That said, I often see them used as an excuse to make another cocksleeve. Let them have their personality, and give it time to grow.
We're all here to fap at the end of the day. Everyone has their kinks. Maybe we can get a few devs to explore other parts of them though.

Women claiming to being lesbian and then dating men is incredibly common and this is from the observation of women. A lot of girls especially in this day and age go through a phase of claiming to be some sort of identity and then growing out of it.

Every type of story has be written more than once. The reason one is better than the other is purely the authors skill in presentation and timing.
You can take a classic book that is famous for how well written it is and find another book with virtually the same story that people thinks sucks ass. The places, names and so on may be different but the basic story is the same.

It isn't I don't like stories that include NTR or blackmail and so on. Just I have yet to find one that isn't poorly written.
Every single blackmail plot I've ever seen in hundreds of adult games doesn't bother to step through what it actually takes to get away with it. There are a lot of games the person is in modern day times with modern technology such as a cell phone and they don't think once to record the blackmailer in anyway. Almost never is the thought of violence against the blackmailer brought up. Let me tell you generally in real life the first emotion people have to blackmail is anger not fear.
Most the time NTR is pulled of like pure shit. No account for how people really would react. Again modern society games fail to capitalize on the use of tech. Again anger is almost never considered. Then maybe the dumbest issue is they act like kids are so defenseless. I tend to think the developers are projecting their own inabilities on to the rest of the world.
