We all like porn games in general, but still, there are some recurring tropes in porn games that can quickly ruin an otherwise hot scene or story. So it's not about setting where you wont get a boner in any way, but about those, which are like a bucket of cold water over your dick. For me these are the following:
1) A lesbian woman turned straight. While a straight woman (preferably a curvy milf) turned lesbian is what I consider the most climactic porn archetype, a lesbian woman (in the worst case, a young girl, who tried first sexual experiences with a female school friend) turned straight by the male MC is for me the definition of anticlimax and an ultimate boner killer.
2) A lesbian encounter turning into an MMF threesome: Basically the short version of the above. It doesn't necessarily ruin the story, but it ruins the scene.
3) Harem building with inverted difficulty. First the MC blackmails his mother, than his sister joins in, then the MC has his first rather innocent romance with a girl he met at school. This is maybe less of a boner killer but more of a flaw in game design. Typically a game's difficulty should increase and not decrease. For a porn game this would mean, that it's odd that a character breaks an absolute taboo before having a completely normal and socially accepted relationship.
4)Thugs try to rape a female hero ... and succeed. I admit, I have a rather conservative outlook, when it comes to fantasy heroes. When a woman in shining armor is surrounded by a gang of thugs laughing dirtily, I expect her to kill them quickly and as painlessly (if her armor is golden or silver) or painfully (if her armor is black) as possible. No fear or hesitation in her eyes, no doubt who will win, just a quick show of her martial or magical prowess. The worst she has to expect is cleaning armor and weapons afterwards. I don't expect and don't want the thugs to pull the armor from her body and fuck her, especially, if she is the main character of a game.
