Too many of them.
Usually an indication that the story will be meh-level item.
It's like saying: "I'm too lazy to figure out a decent believable story so let's just whack mc to the head with something heavy and make him forget everything."

Well I admit that I'm not a very good writer, but for me in a dating sim game by having a hero with no memories it's easier to craft stories around him. With a blank slate, you can give him (or her) many choices in the story as compared to the protagonist being a default jerk or good guy. That's what I think anyway, but I appreciate the comment.

I see your point though, but I think makeing the MC a social outcast that get's a chance t start anew and be more social is a better start, since the MC is less likely to make a 180 degree turn

That is a good point and makes for a more cohesive story. I mean, just imagine if someone you knew since childhood one day started acting completely different.

From the OP:
Pretty standard scenario but you should give it a try. It's not just for the fap fap, you can interact with the village and there are festivals. Fighting is also a thing but it doesn't become annoying. Imo it feels like the dev tries to combine story telling with fap and doesn't seem to do a bad job so far.

It's a dating sim, which the plot progresses after a certain period of time. The game have a main storyline and also mini storylines for some of the villagers, though they're not yet complete for the time being. For the fap part, I want players to work for the H scenes, so it won't be quick as you need to do odd jobs around the village to get to your goal.
