I've recently had various health problems for the past weeks.
the diagnosis is unclear at the moment, but my symptoms look like multiple sclerosis or a similar neurological disease.
that's why I don't have much motivation left to do mod stuff, i'm sure you all understand

Is there a commercially available program that you use? I've been fiddling around with Topaz AI and I've been wondering if it's similar.

Topaz video AI is the best tool for upscaling CGI animations.
I recommand using Proteus and Artemis alternatives for CGI-content and Gaia for IRL content with a good input quality
Their interpolation engines are decent but not the best in my opinion

Oh, no! I had a bad feeling it was a health issue. That's why I was hoping that you were okay. Nothing comes anywhere close to being as important as a human being's health. Definitely focus on yourself and not a porn game mod.

That's very helpful input. I've been fiddling around and primarily using Proteus and Artemis. Only tried IRL content a couple of times, but I don't think that I used Gaia.

I did a brain MRI, the results ended fine which seems to rule out multiple scleroris
I have to wait several months for my appointment to the neurologist, quite common in my country unfortunately

Sadly your filter chain in Desert Stalker seems to kill quite a lot of details.
See \images\Home\Rooms\Zahra\Sleep\sz-31-anim.webm for example. All the finer skin texture is gone and the right nipple is completely blurry.

This is a side-effect of the AI engine when it tries to apply a denoise/deblock fillter. Some original details might be mistaken for noise artefacts so the engine wipe them off.

I was aware of it when I made this mod but I kept it that way for 3 reasons:
- It was very effective at cleaning artefacts
- the AI model i chose was the only one to get rid of the flicker artifacts present in many animations, which I personally hate and find very "ugly".
- At the end, I found beneficial the trade-off between artifact removal and substancial loss of detail

That being said, I noticed some promising new AI models that do the same job while maintaining the same level of detail.

- A shot in the dark : i was about to post it but i've seen that the dev team is planning to rework the first chapters so i think it will be better to wait the next update (progress : 95%)

- Life in santa county : the goal was to make a complete 4K conversion of the game (static renders + animations)
animations are 100 % done but i have some issues with the static renders (compression artefacts, renders glitching from sandbox scenes).
Unlike the rest of my mods, this 4K conversion requires a lot of script editing which significantly increases the risk of bugs.
I plan to release the 4K animations first as a mod and then the whole pack with 4K renders included (progress : 40 %)

- I also started to work on Amnesia, most of the animations are blurry and a little choppy. thanks to a promising new AI model, my mod will significantly enhance the level of detail. (progress : 20 %)

I just want to thank you again for doing this. I've been using Topaz AI to enhance some clips here and there and it is a giant pain, so this is greatly appreciated.

I thought (though I could be misremembering) I saw a list somewhere of games that had been proposed to you already but you declined for one reason or another. I wanted to see it again first to check before asking, but am having trouble finding it. So if this has already been brought up before then I apologize. But I was wondering if Milfylicious could receive the enhancement treatment, or at least be added as a possibility? I only just discovered the game and am not very far in yet, but overall I've gotten a good first impression from it.

I've released an early version of my 4K conversion for Life in Santa County, which I have splited in two parts: Animations first as a mod, then the whole game with static renders included.
The 4K animations mod also restores some sleep scenes which were deleted since v0.8.0 for some reasons.

I've deleted the suggestions list because I've decided to suspend suggestions for new games.
Adding Milfylicious is a possibility but not in the near future to be honest.

For now, I stick to my initial goal : deliver what I promised and update existing games if there's enough demand.
