Good day, everyone. My name is DemonLad. I've wanted to make Visual Novels for a while, especially with the 3D art style, but I never had enough time. After being laid off, I struggled to find work or other opportunities, so I have been developing my first 3D VN project, Unseen Instincts. I did create a real-life character game in the past, but umm, it was so badly thrashed that I would avoid discussing it. So, after three months of learning Daz and Blender, here I am, presenting the development of my first game.

Synopsis

A series of brutal murders in the city of Odessey has thrown the police department into disarray. The victims, five of them, were all brutally murdered, and the killer remains at large, with no apparent motive and no clues to go on. Enter Detective Nicole, a brilliant and strikingly beautiful investigator with a sharp mind and a fiery spirit. Will Nicole and her police colleagues be able to apprehend the murderer, or will she become entangled in a web of deceit? Put yourself in Nicole's shoes to find out.

  • Choice based VN, every choice will make an impact during branching.

I don't think starting this game project in order to make money and make it become your main source of income is the best idea.

It's way safer to start it as a "side-job" while you already have a reliable source of income. It's more exhausting indeed, but also way safer.

Most of the erogames are simply money/time sinking holes that won't help their creator in any way when they need to pay their bill.

Your pockets or saved funds need to be really deep in order to tank the years of having nearly no income.

Nearly no project is a success at launch and it require time, luck and dedication to maybe get a return to your investment.

But most of the time, incomes from making a porn game won't exceed a hundred dollars.

Hey, thanks for the message.

The reason I'm creating this game because I have a lot of interest in VNs, and was trying it since the last two years but I had a horrid laptop and work schedule. It has been increasingly difficult to land jobs in my area, and since the interest was already there, I have chose this path.

For now, any good amount will help me concentrate and keep this running. I plan to freelance and once I learn art in a good to expert scale, I'll be doing other gigs too.

Yes, even though I need a better system and I can't afford it, I'm doing this purely out of passion. The reliable source is not there yet haha, so until then, this will be my source of bread and butter.

I really like female protagonist games and the render looks good. At the moment I see you have a plan for the release schedule, which is great, but I saw enough games planning everything and then: bugs and rendering problems, ..., however, I wish you good luck.

P.s. If there's a chance to add the "exhibitionism" tag would be awesome: I'm a simple player. Can't wait to try it.

Thanks. Yes, I have release schedule because it keeps me engaged knowing I have to deliver this within time. Renders are going great and I think I may finish this early, but I'll not rush for sure.

For the tag idea, yes, I'll give it a thought.
