It isn't. Because the whole point to the MC is being the only actual normal man. He looked like a shota (he never was) and shotas aren't manly in appearance nor especially demeanour (MC only had the former). He would fit as shota-like if men weren't like women, because there wouldn't be the concept of being the only normal man. Also, it's more believable MC as shota-like would be the one being dominated in a female dominated world.
Get that negative fantasy out of here, this game has femboys with dumptrucks that would make women irl cry with envy and women and futa with unrealistic proportions that are only attractive in a fictional sense, this game should be anything but realistic.

To be honest, I just enjoy the old one more because he radiates more "imp-ish" energy. Something in it for the shits and giggles.
New one looks more devilish. And wouldn't take shit for anything.

He's anything besides normal but his old look fit so well with his mischievous nature. The way he looks makes him look so "innocent" and it fits very well with his secretive nature when women/traps get completely caught off guard with his advances.
What a downgrade, completely ruins the feel of the original

There is no realism here. I said what the whole point of the MC's existence is and a shota/shota-looking protag does not fit that. Just because it's fantasy, doesn't mean there shouldn't be logic and common sense (every single fictional work is based on real life logics and common senses; they have/should have their own)

Well my input is that I don't care if the MC is shota or not as long as he doesn't have the personality change. If he is still the same character as before then I don't mind. I think the new Mc have better style than the old one. He does look cooler even with that size hairstyles but I get that he looks douchebag or like a scum as well. What matters the most is his personality anyway.

I didn't miss anything; the only difference with his new look is that now he's actually attractive face and body wise (muscles I mean).
Also he never used a seduction power in the original so the whole incubus thing was wasted, and it will highly likely be the same in the remake too.

It's confirmed the MC inhabits his body, so maybe Jonah comes back to life in a different body that looks exactly like his old one.
i used kemono party to look through snats's old patreon posts to verify some information for myself. i ended up browsing it for like an hour and it sent me into a doomer state for this game. i'm going to share my own findings here. sorry in advance if this stuff was already shared in this thread beforehand. you can look in the spoiler if you care for the details.
so, he actually is supposed to be the only masculine person instead of the wolf in sheep's clothing from the previous game. i'm personally not a fan of the new approach, some of the charm to this game for me was that he looked so unsuspecting and everyone treated him as such. he topped the tops. the MC's personality was powertop, but his body was bottom. it doesn't look to be that way anymore.
anyway i know the drill after posting something like this, i got some grass to touch.

He does not look like that from the start
It was not his appearance that took people by surprise when he talked dirty, but the fact that he's a boy that did. Boys are girls in this world, so talking dirty casually is not expected. For the family, it's also because he's family.

Now unlike the classic version Slurpstagram is fully functional, I have also completely improved the handling of existing applications making it much more fluid and easy to understand(and easier for me to handle too, at the moment of adding new content❤)

- The Questlog/Guide, now is not separated or divided by pages, it is only one page that will show all the characters playthrough guide, you can roll up and down this page with the mousewheel, in case of the android version it can be draggable with your finger. I made sure to add a really clear mugshot picture besides the guide info so you can identify which character it is, Also including that notification status will always pop up everytime you get a new event.
- Slurpstagram, it can now accept animated post/feed, I added a lot of stuff there, so at the moment you get your phone it will have content already plus that more post/feed will keep appearing during your playthrough, you will also get a notification from this every time a new post appear.
- HornyHub, The same as Slurpstagram, I can now add animated stuff here too, this app will be a mix of Twitter, Pornhub and OnlyFans inside TwistedWorld, so here you will only find kinky, sexual posts, it will also have content once you get your phone and it will appear more during your playthrough.
- EDIT, the SlurpyBank is fully working, but you will need to make a ban account first in the Slurpy Bank map, which will appear once the World Map is available.
- Also I decided to make all the phone app menus in dark mode, I think people will like them more this way.
