I'm not sure if only I have this problem but every time I try to playing Rin-Chan's First from the 2018 file, the screen just ends up blacking out every time I press begin. Any suggestions?

Change your system locale to Japanese

It will change your Unicode to Japanese, not your display language. I believe programs from Japan have different UTF characters.

Dont know if anyone still active in this thread but i finally got passed the black screen with the error. However, I am now stuck at this screen with three options and don't know what to press to actually start the game. Anyone know how to start the game?
