Can I ask why all the folders have some wil ass names like "üyâïü[âvGIFüz"

Addendum: I assume its cause its downloaded from a site to which I dont have the language

I'm not sure if only I have this problem but every time I try to playing Rin-Chan's First from the 2018 file, the screen just ends up blacking out every time I press begin. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions. I unfortunately still couldn't fix it so ima have to search for mp4s of the scenes instead. The other games seem to work tho so at least thats good.

So I solved it a little bit. If you find the correct pictures for the game, you have to put it together. in the same folder. it's a little tedious since you have to put the file together but once you get them together it'll work properly i think. still testing.

I can't explain it well (I'm not really an expert) but from what I learned, Japanese characters in eroge folder names tend to cause problems when trying to play on a PC with English as the OS's display language. Changing folder names and using Locale Emulator helped me solved problems when running eroge most of the time.

I am managing to correct some things but some other things gets messed up. I can't get it perfect. if I can get at least one, I think i'll be able to do it to the others.

Dont know if anyone still active in this thread but i finally got passed the black screen with the error. However, I am now stuck at this screen with three options and don't know what to press to actually start the game. Anyone know how to start the game?

I haven't tried playing this one but try pressing z, x or any keys near them (or even try the mouse) ..Most of the time, Z is for confirm and X is for cancel.
