This is a really great game. The story is interesting, and the model is beautiful.

Graphics:
The model is beautiful, and the environment is also good. For me, 9/10.

The animation is also good. For me, 9/10.

It's an interesting story. ( I love to impregnate women really hot ). For me, 10/10.

The characters are beautiful | For me 9/10.

True-husband is a fun game to play, in my opinion. I really recommend it. Alice is so cute. I really love her

Story: 3/5
+ A man is living with his wife. But things get more complicated when a daughter of his wife and a sister of his wife move into their house.
+ This is typical game, where a lot of women are crazy for MC. Even coworkers and his female boss are crazy for him.
- Sadly the plot and characters arent very deep. They are mostly a bunch of typical porn cliché.
+ If you can enjoy a plot full of typical cliché, then this is great.
- But if you dont like typical cliché, then a lot of situations in this game might make you cringe.

Art and sex stuff: 5/5
+ Renders are good.
+ Girls are hot.
+ Sex scenes are good.
+ The game has sex animations.
+ The game has a lot of sex content (especially with wife).

Gameplay: 3/5
+ This is typical VN with choices.
+ With your choices you can avoid the content you dont want to see. But otherwise they dont affect much.
+ English is decent.
- Sadly the game doesnt have any music.
But I am confused about lack of soundtrack or sound effects. Game clearly has many music files inside. But for some reason the game is quiet.

To sum it up:
Although the game isnt anything special, but I really enjoyed it. It is very hot. I will recommend this.

I didn't have high expectations for this VN - and my first impression wasn't particularly good, to be honest.
For one thing, there's the ridiculous explanation for the stepdaughter's sudden appearance - indeed, her very existence.
The initial dialogues are also anything but well written - too long-winded, too artificial, too descriptive.
As a result, I felt a strong urge to delete this VN shortly after I started reading it - and I don't blame anyone who did (which probably explains some of the negative reviews here).

However, I kept reading because I liked the playful dynamic between the MC and his wife.

Thankfully, the experience got better after a while.
Sure, there's still porn logic at play (especially in regards to the twins and their mum), but all in all the plot seemed - well, maybe not realistic, but at least plausible. Digestible?
The dialogue got a lot better, too.

One of the strengths of True Husband is its characters.
I have a soft spot for Honey Select models - and the cast is quite diverse: We have

• the loving (and playful) wife,
• the innocent stepdaughter (I didn't pursue her romantically - aside from the initial, inevitable attraction the relationship is surprisingly healthy and wholesome, especially after closing the romantic route),
• the extremely forward, nymphomaniac sister-in-law (one of my favourite characters - the interactions between her and the MC are just hilarious),
• the flirtatious boss (yoga sessions, anyone?),
• the submissive secretary (as someone wrote in the main thread, I really hope it doesn't end in blackmail, but that she shows her gratitude for his indulgence by willingly giving herself to the MC),
• the manipulative twins and their (yet to be introduced) mum.

If I have anything to criticise here, it's that most of the love interests are far too busty for my taste (a general issue with adult games for me).
Yes, the teenagers (stepdaughter and twins) have relatively small breasts, but the majority of the adult characters (Sarah, Becky, Olivia) and their "melons" are simply too much for my liking.

This is all the worse because in a flashback we see Sarah in her early 20s - and she's just I wish there were more LIs with realistic proportions like her, both in True Husband and in general.

And let's not forget the MC.
I find it strange that he's grey-haired, but apart from that I like him and his witty inner monologue.

Which brings me to the next point - the humour.
True Husband is just pretty funny and made me laugh several times, especially at the situational comedy (e.g. the scene in the sauna where the twins try to "sell" their mum to the MC - figuratively speaking, of course - and he frantically tries to feign disinterest while sporting a massive boner).
The bad endings (I only encountered one, though) are also funny (and hot).

Speaking of which - the lewd scenes and animations are pretty good.

Choices are limited to which character you want to pursue romantically.
Unfortunately, there are also some dreaded single choices at the end of the current version.
As a result the whole story reads more like a kinetic novel, which doesn't bother me too much (not every VN needs to have an insane amount of choices).
However, at least a few impactful choices (and recognition of whether the MC is faithful or not) would have been nice.

It's too bad there are (almost) no sound effects, because they could increase the immersion and the situational comedy immensely.


Conclusion:

If you're looking for an adult VN with a strong and believable plot, you should probably look elsewhere.
If you're looking for a lighthearted and sexy VN that doesn't take itself too seriously, give it a try.

Just keep in mind that the dialogue isn't that well written to begin with - that's why I strongly recommend that the dev revisit the early versions, as it's clear to see that the dialogue has improved significantly over the course of this VN.

Personally, I would rate True Husband 7/10, but I'm rounding up my rating because I don't think the current average rating does it justice.

Very good story so far. Looking forward to more. Love the teasing and the relationship so far between all the charecters. Would be awesome if the daughter found a sexy red head her age to hang out with. Giving us more options for some fun.

Really good story and beautifull models/animation. A must play. I played 0.6 and have six day of full content. The game is VN only so no stupid mingame or wasting time around maps. Really good the interaction with the stepD, and the aunt. I hope in future versione that the dev would add more characters.

Normaly I dont write any rewiev but this game is really good. If it finish it would be one of my favourate. Girls are very good. Story is good. I donu understand the point. You can try the game. It is short but well

This little story has some flashes of greatness, but overall it's between good and okay. The renders are HS so nothing special, the dev has opted for the "can't show the MC's face" which is always a turn-off for me and the dialogue ranges from okay to awful.

The one really positive thing is the relationship the MC has with the wife. Most of the wife scenes have been really enjoyable and they were what kept me interested.

The odd thing is how sometimes the story is written like a story and then there are parts that seem like they are a porn scenario. The whole scene in the spa, for example, while I liked it, seemed way out of place for the type of story so far. For me, I would like to see the dev chose one or the other and go all in.

IDK... this is one of those VNs where I may or may not play it again but I definitely hope it gets better with age.

Look at this line in the description - " It's up to you to decide. "

Not when you're giving me a game over screen for the choice I'm making. If your goal at the beginning was to lock me into a specific route and punish me for going off the beaten path, just make it a kinetic novel. Don't waste my time by giving me the illusion of choice.

as far as the actual game, solid writing, visuals are decent if you don't mind that kind of engine, and characters are somewhat interesting. Progression is going at a good pace, but not totally worth playing at it's current level. Would probably wait and check this out again down the line

Absolute npc behaviour from the characters. They all have the emotional depth of a sloth and the dialogues are soulless. Nice renders though and the sex situations aren't bad. Definitely a quick fap game but nothing more than that.

It's got great models, the writing is alright and most importantly doesn't take ages to get to the fun bits. There are certain choices with minor changes to the story but it doesn't seem like anything major. Overall a real nice and refreshing game

The pacing, build up and tension with the Daughter is fantastic.
Slightly unnatural writing but totally serviceable .
I don't usually like HS Models but here (especially daughter) they are very good .

Overall this for me is a bit of hidden gem that gets a lot right that far bigger rep games don't.

Fairly simple, mostly linear VN. Not quite kinetic. Occasionally a choice does matter; often it does not.
Lots of sex, often, with his hot, loving wife, while every other woman he meets is instantly attracted to him.
Very simple, very functional.
Despite what other reviews say, you can always turn down all the other women and stick with your wife. The issue right now is there's no reason to do this. She's more oblivious than the average NTR doujin MC, so you can casually grope and be groped by everyone else and she never cares at all. But its also super early into the story. Maybe this will change, maybe not, maybe she's a cuckquean. Who knows?

Fun story about a guy dating a milf and inheriting her daughter after their marriage. The character models are both well made and the story has decent pacing. Im hoping for more mother daughter stuff in the future.

I like how the game evolves and there is always the expectation of what is to come or how it will develop later and as was clear at the end of this update, the new characters that were presented, I hope they are future LIs, because they definitely I want a piece of those hot bodies For my part, what could improve is if they introduced background music and maybe moans for the NSFW scenes (although the latter is personal preference) without further ado, good luck and continue with the game DEV

I rate on a curve in early releases. This is as of v.03.

I like the story, it is a bit cliche, but fun. Despite the obvious lewdness the protag is showing, it actually has a hint of a wholesome story line as well. I know that is a bit far-fetched, but it is what it feels like.

The art is fun. It is not your super high end Daz3d, but is also isn't the same overused models, so it has a fresh quality to it.

The areas that need work...

• The grammar is a bit of a mess. The Mr. Protag all over the place by Alice gets annoying. Drop the Mr. part after a bit. It is understandable at first, but geez.
• The back and forth banter is a bit dry at times. Needs a bit of spice added to it to feel natural.
• Animations need a bit of work.

Overall it is a fun little game that doesn't take itself too seriously. I think some reviewers want a high budget masterpiece on every game. I love those too, but I also enjoy these smaller short and sweet style games as well.

Good Points
+ Art style looks good and we have good render quality.
+ Sex scenes have a couple of different positions/angles with animations.

Bad Points
- We have no sound effects or music for the game.
- Animation physics can use some improvements.
- Grammar is not that good and we have typos as well, for example, there was a scene wife called MC ''Nick'' instead of the self-inserted name you gave.
- The story itself is quite weak and unrealistic. And the story-telling is not good either, the way things keep happening without any build-up scenes is especially bad, like how the step-daughter gets accepted instantly and starts bonding with the MC or how the wife says MC she has to travel to another city for work out of nowhere, etc.
- Wife looks quite good, but Alice could have looked more attractive than her current look, her face and hair looks bit bad and her body is not good either.
- Text font is bad, reading with the current text font is kind of hard.

For The End
Honestly, the game is quite weak and not good, it needs lots of improvements for being even average.

True Husband is a kinetic VN pretending to be a choice-based VN where the MC lewds on his wife's suddenly-appearing daughter.

It's really a mess overall. The game is comprehensible, but the grammar and word choice are awkward at best. Beyond that, the story is ridiculous, and not in the funny way, just the "these people aren't human" way. There have been no worthwhile scenes in the game as of 0.2.

There are choices in the game, but they're opt-in/opt-out choices on perving on the suddenly-appearing daughter. They lead to bad ends or just skip to the next event. You're just choosing whether you wanna see the lewds or not, as there appears to be no effect on the story unless there's a bad end.

The renders and animations are good, but no better than any of the hundreds of other games on this site using the same software. Go find one of those instead.

The models and animations are good, but god the writing is something else. It's not like there's massive spelling mistakes or it's overly creepy like some others, but there are just a bunch of things that coalesce into making reading it a chore.

Firstly, the way people talk and how the MC thinks is extremely robotic. The dev seems to understand that a randomly, unspoken of daughter appearing out of nowhere is strange, but they can't illustrate that confusion appropriately AT ALL.

The MC lets a stranger into his home based on a story he doesn't believe, he doesn't address the fact his WIFE never mentioned she had a child until much later (the writing pretends she was the one who was avoiding it, but neither the MC's thoughts nor his actions actually displayed any proper emotion towards it), and then it ends up being this ridiculous story about her leaving an abusive home and somehow immediately being found? Pair that with things like the dialogue literally just describing what I can see with my eyes, as well as giving the impression it was run through a translator, and it's not great.

Okay, this is pretty good!
Nice renders, great looking women, the wife is for once super hot, she usually is meh in those games as the focus is on the daughter.
The daughter is very cute too and things are unfolding quite well.
I am giving 5 stars as I liked everything so far, hopefully the rest of the content will be on par.
