Reinbach recently said on his Patreon that circumstances have made him shift from X-rated material to R-rated material, but I didn't see an explicit mention about this affecting the new game. I'm guessing it will though. I've included the full post for context:
To be clear, he's talking about the future of his comic with the same name here, not this game, which I believe is 100% finished as of v1.5. I'm all for him taking more time for himself, but it breaks my heart to hear that his comic is going relatively clean. I've had no regrets subbing and buying merch, and I'll at least keep subbing for another month or two, but this is a real deep kick in the balls. I'm not mad at him, I'm mad at whoever went and changed things for him. Hopefully circumstances change and he can reconsider somewhere down the line.

Huh, he says: "If you're interested in the details, please read on." and then continues to not explain whatsoever why he's not doing porn anymore. I guess someone started bullying him irl or something.
Sucks though, his art is great and all but naked women are kinda dime a dozen and erotica without sex is....really vanilla. I would imagine he'll lose most of his supporters with this change.

In a weird kind of way it's kind of fitting that he cut the sex scenes before Elianna got one, but in another kind of way I'm pissed that we lost the sex scenes before Elianna finally got one
How do I leave the school? There's no one to talk to but when I open the map, there's no where to go to
