Yeah, so Toymaster is a distant sequel.
Prequel is a portmanteau of "pre-" and "sequel," which means it's a subsequent work set at a time before the original. "Prequel" isn't a synonym for "predecessor."

The Toymaster happens Many years after HH in a timeline where MC wasn't able to convince Cornwall.
The smartest lads probably even noticed Who Lia really is.
It's not that dark of a sequel, it's a turn of event i wouldn't want, but it's definitly not the worst, beside it feels good to have more content related to HH.

It's not a game, the main game is Harem Hotel.
That is just a Kinetic novel.
EDIT: Oh well it's actually a game, i thought this was just a comic.

Please let this not affect Harem Hotel. I really love that story and characters. I am always sad if creators make multiple games at the same time. It will ALWAYS affect speed (and sometimes quality)

Ren'Py fans whine about actually having to play games, gamers get mad because they download something from the game section and they get a kinetic/visual novel, I say stfu and learn the tags bitches.

Not much to say about this game/KN yet. Writing is good, scenes are good, the "graphics" are the same as HH, but I like how Runey plays a bit more with different camera angles here.
Lin2 errm... Lia is really cute. MCs face has a bit too much screen time if you ask me, but that's only my opinion.
Story could be interesting, but there is not much too see yet to really get an opinion on that (maybe 5 minutes play time).
It's promising.

A couple of things felt forced in the writing honestly, Harem Hotel has more subdlety.

Because some people foolishly believe that when you PLAY a game you expect to actually play instead of just clicking through a picture slideshow. Some people are weird.

Actually at first i didn't knew that it was a Ren'py port, i thought it was well, just the comic in a PDF or something along those lines, that's why i'm calling it "game".
Even though it's more a comic than a game.
