Any way to fullscreen the game without having the screen stretched? Want to have the black bars on sides instead.

Yeah, in 2018. It's 2023. Not saying they aren't going to release it, but... Maybe people were a little... impatient, waiting for this translation for FIVE years.
No need to make it worse than it is. The game was announced in December 2019

I don't really blame kagura for being slow. If I remember correctly this game had a ridiculous amount of text. Seriously, god bless CTRL button with this one.

If you use a NVIDIA card in your system, you can set it up to have it stretched but keeping the aspect ratio in the NVIDIA control panel (under "Adjust Desktop Size and Position"). Don't forget to set scaling to GPU in the settings. Otherwise see post #644.

I blame them for the COMPLETE lack of communication. Also, It's a translation job, the game was developed quicker than it was translated..

Don't need to sugar coat it either. The circle that made the game publicly dissed Kagura for being slow. It's to the point that they chose a different publisher altogether for the next game
And rightfully so. Was that a Ci-en post?

Thank you... I tried the adjust thing and it never worked. I had to set it to GPU... none of the tips I found mentioned that.

They are profesionals, or in theory they are, so yeah, I do. Well, I don't because it's not my game, but if it were, I would. Lovely Pretty Ultra Loving You are more than entitled to blame them for needing so long to translate their game. At this point, we are talking about money, and the more time they waste, the more money the developer is not getting. I'd add a "yet" there, but the lost hype may very well make them lose that money permanently, not temporarily.

You can rightfully blame them. The game is long but that does not justify how long it took. I mean it is very obvious they shelved the project, if you think they worked on it for that long... well dont know what to tell you.

Also the dev has a lot of reason to be mad as hell. It is 5 years later, the porn game market is a lot more saturated. Stuff that blew up 5 years ago would get shit on today, so you could say he missed out on quite some profit because of their actions.

Completely mismanaged and shitty behavior. Back then someone was fan translating the game and there were rumours kagura was stealing translations. The fan translator stopped when he heard kagura started making the translation, because they were worried of stealing.

So it seems pretty plausible that kagura found out their unpaid labour stopped working on the game and they ended up shelving it, because it seemed too much work for the possible profits.

That is pretty serious allegation, is there any proof or truth to this?

They were suspect about translation stealing, that much is true. If it was true that they actually did it, I can't say, but seeing how they are still translating other games, I doubt it was ever proved, if true (or it wasn't true, of course).

The fact that it took a profesional company 5 years to translate this game, though, doesn't speak well for them. At the very least, they mismanaged this project to an enormous degree, and that's almost as bad, as the developer had lost benefits because of that.

To give an example of how unbelievable it is for a company to need that much time to translate an indie game, the only reason Tears of the Kingdom wasn't completed in that frame of time is because Nintendo wanted to polish everything so it was released in as good shape as they could, because it was planed to be released in 2022 (the game per se was finished in march of 2022) and it was started in 2017. That includes all the translations to different languages the game has. Pregcess of Zeven is big for an indie h-game, but not THAT big that it should require 5 years.

Despite anything else, I'm just glad the kagura release might bring more attention to this game. I still love how this game handles the slow corruption and how much detail they go in to describe how Leticia is thinking during every scene.

It's known that they used a fan translation of one game as groundwork for their release. However, the fan translation was made by multiple people including a guy who is Kagura Staff (obv before Kagura was a thing). That was the only known case though.
