Do NOT do the "just summarize the opening" option. It failed to properly load the scene leading to the main game, and instead put me onto the map from the opening. Then I was frozen. Either go all in on the opening, or skip entirely.

The issue is likely because this is a game that tries to do a bit more with the RPGM system, and it uses a lot of panning shots. This usually feels jarring when you run into a trigger that suddenly stops your movements- the transition is not smooth at all, even in the original. I imagine that doesn't work well with an poorly edited machine translation.

Character designs sure are hot garbage compared to previous Clymenia titles, everyone is a big tit anime girl with generic face style, why? It's a downgrade for sure.
It's a demo and mtl, so dialogue isn't worth reading and lots of stuff is wip, censorship is also ridiculous. The mc is mentally retarded. Theres some gimmick rpgm system where enemy has a type and you have to match that type to deal more damage. The Magical girl tf scenes are a bit obnoxious and out of place.

Clymenia is (I'm somewhat sure after reading one of their cien posts ages ago) collabing with a different artist for this one for reasons I wasn't invested enough to discover.

This is one of the few games on here that makes me think "Oh, I can't wait for it to release so I can spend real life money, instead of pirating it". Granted, I'm probably going to wait for a day or two for reviews post-release, just in case Clymenia stumbles this time.

This, what the hell happened? Dev should just go back to vx ace and stay there, if this is the endresult. None of the characters shown here come even close to the ones from Salvation or most other games before this.

Oh hey, feels like it's been a long time since the last Clymenia game. New artist too, unfortunately. Wonder if the switch is why it's been so long? Anyone know the name of the last artist?

Edit: I think clymenia themself just is the last artist, based on their pixiv and twitter. Probably collabed with a separate artist to lighten their own workload maybe. Or maybe they're just friends, I dunno.

I already cry when I watch the fourth preview picture and see that faceless male. Yes, it's most likely a minor NPC but how hard can it be to give him a decent face?^^'

I wholeheartedly agree. Clymenia had a winning formula with Liz and Public Defense Corp but their new stuff really misses the mark. Art quality has definitely improved but the designs just don't hold a candle to their previous works.

?? Clymenia has always had some variance in main character design and this game is simply the swing of the pendulum back to a big tiddy mc? not like Haruka and Liz were small by any means, this MC is just very big.

as someone mentioned before, the one game where Clymenia was working with another artist got put on hold and Clymenia started doing Salvation 2 in the meantime when they came back from their long hiatus.
