or family's permission, seen 2 promises by other devs to continue abandoned game but 1 got given up and 1 didn't get even that.

No, but it would be a real hassle to reengineering all things the dev of the game have used it in the first place.
When if he let us continue the game in agreement, he could give us this information about the character set, scene and so on and would be much much more easy to continue than otherwise.

This is ren'py, with the decompile and some basic coding knowledge you can understand all of it, and add to it. Reverse engineering the models and the like however.. Well you got me there, be a least a bit of a pain unless you just wanted to make new "art" for anything new.

here is different thing than on patreon etc, orig. dev could sue new dev to court and that can go 1 way or other.
Shame this project is abandoned. I had quite a few happy afternoons playing this game.

Compared to the fall of ashenburg this game had some decent art and decent scenes but it is still a chaotic mess without a proper story and endless grind that doesnt make much sense in this kind of game or any other.
The dev was from the start an asshole and ran away with the money,you all should have gotten the hint when he abandoned fall of ashenburg,anyway,the dev is not ashamed,not one bit about his fraud from a recent message he made on his profile.
