Considering the most of the team have full time jobs so that they don't dedicate all their time to this, it's understandable but also can't really give a fair comment whether it's their design style or just a lack of time.
Been such a long time since I've looked into this. Fortunately I didn't delete their zip file. Ok so they use a mix of both jpeg and png with approx 1.3gigs (This is their episode 2 images folder less sounds and videos which were inside) of mixed HD & 4K jepgs purely for episode 2. Each image is roughly 1 - 3mbs each and there's a number of them. Then they have a separate images folder (I think it's for episode 1 of around 0.5gigs) so call it 1.8 gigs of images or thereabouts.
Realistically, they need to have a second thought around compression if they're sending out roughly 1.8 gigs of images. Just depends if they ever get around to updating their patrons and release their reloaded game before other games finish up. Based on their past release schedules, there's an argument that some devs could potentially finally finish their sagas before Aorrta release their first chapter of their reloaded game. It's such a shame to make that kind of comment but devs actually have finished games.
