well , here in Germany it is not for sale in Steam.... so, no other Chance for us to get it? Just have to wait patiently for the Leak....

Someone outside of Germany can buy it and gift it to you. I believe that still works.

While this indeed does work (or at least worked a couple months ago) to circumvent these licensing issues (I did it with a game which was not licensed for Germany), not everybody has friends (a) in a foreign country who (b) they would feel comfortable asking for buying them porn. And asking random people over here I think you might find some who would be willing but would you share your personal info (for donation and payback) with some random guy from the zone?

Well, thinking back the last years there are coming a few fellow perverts from a certain private conversation into my mind ...
it's why I have yet to play the steam version of the game to check out the codex I cant go through that cliffhanger again till the first episode or part of S2 is out lolleaving us with such a cliffhanger at the end of the season is just vile.... and what now another 18 months of wait to find out what happened?

I haven't paid much attention to this thread, but isn't the dev supposed to be working on this full time now? If that is the case the updates should come out faster now.

Probably yes. But as with every other game it will depend on somebody (who paid for it - be it Steam, Itch.io, Patreon, what have you) to share it with the rest.

Yes, the Steam version is like anything else, Ren'Py games are not protected on Steam in any way, they are just like they are on Patreon, the game is on Patreon too, but it's $15 now in both places. If you read previous comments, if you played the version here now, then you've already played the new update, as the update only adds new lore (reading material) and VN mode.
It boils down to someone leaking/sharing said update, the dev won't do public releases now the game is being sold on Steam.
