I have just finished playing the new update and honestly it was good but difficult to get the side content done. i would suggest that you can choose when to continue the story by selecting in the bedroom and if you don't that means you just remain in open world but that's just my opionon
You can get a once-per-day energy potion from Madame Pomfrey, in the hospital wing. I believe it's on the first floor.

In the future (hopefully 0.2.0), there will be even more means to replenish energy. Additionally, you will be able to increase your maximum energy, resetting your available energy to a higher amount each free time. I am attempting to find way's to balance this, as I am with most other open-world aspects of the game.

Interesting what you did this time, though the navigation between floors is tedious. The toggle for free time at the end of content is a good idea, particularly since it's impossible to try everything, but there must be an error since we're unable to have any energy anymore.
A system to travel between Gryffindor Tower and the Ground Floor could become useful if you can.
On a side note, after reading a book or interacting with somebody, we shouldn't be kicked out of the concerned room. And interacting with Hermione at the library shouldn't teleport us at the dorms.

Are there any other passwords besides the "fast travel" one?
The game says to check the patreon for more, but the link in the game (and the OP) doesn't really seem to lead to a page that even have any posts. The discord is also nearly as much of a barren wasteland, and the only password there is the same fast travel code.
I was hoping to find a code to raise the energy you have so that I can just do whatever I want and treat the "free roam" section(s) like an actual sandbox until I get bored and progress the story.
I'm going to assume there isn't actually a second code yet, and the suggestion to check the dev's Patreon was just... premature. At least that's the impression I get from looking around the code in the html file, but I'm not a programmer either.

Their Patreon is dead but on their discord they say they're working on it but double but that was back in May and it has been silence since then so it could be argued, yes, it is more than likely dead.

Update: I am scrapping this game in pursuit of a game very similar! Existing in the same world, but you will have a custom character, you will choose your patronus, your wand, and your house (which will affect your route and relationships). The game will be open world and not based on chapters, the only condition is that you attend classes on a schedule. You will choose which classes you attend. I want this to be the ultimate HP Fan game/text-based fantasy game (with porn lol), and I feel limited by the scope of this original project. See you soon when the first update is out! I have not yet chosen a name for the game, let me know if you have any ideas.

I'm actively developing it, too far out to give out a date on when I'll release it. But soon, maybe a month before the first version.
