I dont care for a second about the incest part. I actually dislike incest and think its gross, but i still love this game!
I dont really even think about that its incest, i just enjoy the situations. The artwork is miles better than any other game and it has some excellent animations. And i can bet hard on that many people that play this game or support it on Patreon think just like me in one way or another.
Even if he changes everything and "removes" the incest part, everyone supporting it already knows its just "for show".

Well only time will tell. However judging by the game suggestion thread I would dare to say that the incest tag is quite popular here.

I don't see how getting rid of the incest kills the story. The base story went like this: Your dad just died, owed mafia a shit ton of money, and is probably in debt (your bank and insurance seems to indicate this). You and your family are trying to cope with all this. In addition, you also need to somehow amass enough cash to pay for college. I think at some point, someone pointed out that you'd basically be taking advantage of your emotionally vulnerable mom in fucking her. Your sister doesn't seem all that affected by any of this and has some fucked up problems completely unrelated to incest. Your aunt's somehow been lactating before you even work for her and supplies the whole school with her breast milk. I have no idea how that works. Am I missing anything?

Well, now that patreon checked the game they'd risk getting banned in case they try to circumvent patreon's TOS so there won't be an official patch. I'm sure there will be user patches to restore the old content pretty fast though.

They are probably going to do the step-family thing, but no one knows at this point.

They've said they won't put out an official patch, but some fan will is almost guaranteed to make a unofficial one.

All of this has been mentioned several times in the last 20-odd pages, by multiple people.

As far as I'm aware DC mentioned in one of the last streams that MC (and Jenny?) will rent the room(s) from now on since step family is considered incest by patreon aswell. But all in all it shouldn't take too much work to change to story back to where it was before.

Yeah, it seems like DC wants as little work as possible with those changes right now. There would be quite a few better and more consistent ways to solve the issue but I guess we'll have to live with this situation for now.

That being said, I'm not one of those who think the game is pointless without the incest. What makes SS great, imho, is the overall high quality of art, dialogue, quest flow, and quality assurance. Compared to a lot of other adult games, SS seems like it's in another league of presentation and functionality (Not that it doesn't have bugs, but it runs a lot smoother than most other comparable games here. I also know some people don't like the art, but I think it's great to have a distinct style that isn't just ultra-generic 3D poser models or sameface-googlyeyed anime girls).

ya that's summer time saga not a town uncovered lol which isn't doing any future incest updates and is the best game other than four element trainers to wait on imo
