Man, I swear that every time I find a new game, band movie etc, that I really enjoy, there is always horrific baggage along the way.

Great band, lead singer dies.
Amazing movie! Didn't make enough money for sequel.
Summertime Saga, stuck in limbo on the Milk Train 9000

I am a portent of doom whenever I find anything I like.
stop liking things if your powers can work in reverse you can revive this game. conjure your spite!

Do you people really think that DC cares about f95? For real, I think this is related to the fact that the abandoned tag is after two years without updates... and well... they also now that they have not release any update in the last two years
F95 is where many devs also post their games cus it tends to funnel more supporters to their patreon.
Summertime saga owes a lot of its success from being on this website due to it being shown to a lot more eyes due to it.

Many are saying this cause the timing of everything
I personally think it's a combination of Patreons complaining and the tag
DC most likely won't care a lot about the tag but it wouldn't be ridiculous to think he kind of cares about the tag.
Like another user said, someone will see the tag and have less interest in subscribing
or the potential of word spreading that one of the biggest 2D porn games is now abandoned

I'm not saying the tag has too much power but it can affect the amount of new subs.
But his Patreons starting to get impatient (rightfully so) woke them up.

Yes , but that is what im trying to say. It has pass two years without updates not only in f95, so, they might be motivated to do something to change

Man I forgot how they looked in the beginning
I like that the new style is different but subtle
Yeah, the old stuff was pretty inconsistent and really rushed. Some girls were way too orange and DC didn't bother at all drawing legs or so. I'll be really happy once all of this is replaced.

well: if he didnt care he wouldn't have said that he'd put the tech update in increments/parts.

So if it's two months per character route that's already in the game, it'll be at least 16 months of recycled content if I counted the right amount of routes (Diane, Roxxy, Mia/Helen, Eve, Teachers, Erik/Tammy, Main Story, and Maria/Tony). I'll probably check the first new update out to see how much is actually added and then forget about this game for another two years if it doesn't add anything significant.

To the people saying DC doesn't care : then why was DC on the site? the very day it gets slapped with an abandoned tag (before the tag hit) after being inactive for so long?
DC is aware that a site like this declaring it abandoned is going to have a knock-on effect, hence the sudden "oh we are about to drop (an extremely stripped down partial) update, see look how hard we've been working for the last 2 years..."
Couple that with his own subscribers on discord kicking up a stink and suddenly (magically) things are happening.
