Bro, this was discussed, re-discussed and over discussed again and again for tenth times here.

Are there sex scenes in the first season of BaD? Iirc yes, a lot.
Are there sex scenes in the first season of SG? As far as I know - no.

Would a player expect a sex scene in a game marked as "Adult only" like BaD?
It's safe to assume, they would certainly expect it.

Will BaD live up to these player expectations? Definitely yes.
Can the same be stated about SG? Absolutely not!

Do you understand now? By presenting SG as an adult game, Ocean would not be breaking any of Steam's rules, but it would be giving players the completely false expectation that the game would have sexual content. Unfortunately, most people still refer to "adult content" as "containing porn", although this is not entirely true.

So, Ocean removed everything that could be considered as porn content, even just images of genitals. Added the "Occasional Nudity" tag and submitted the game to Steam. They carefully reviewed the content, especially Bella's boobs, and told him - this was not an Occasional, but Frequent Nudity!

As I understand it, he tried to change their verdict, but Steam was adamant and he gave up. As a result, the game received the tag "Frequent Nudity" and with it restrictions by age and country. And here we are.

I won’t even start about the part of the story related to the music licenses; if you want, you can find all this drama in the thread and in the dev logs.

I'm sorry to tell you that I'm not often in this thread to know what you talk about in more than 1800 pages, the last I knew is that he did it to be able to sell it in German market because of the censorship there in steam, which was counterproductive because in future updates with more quantity and frequency of explicit content would have forced him to make practically 2 different games if he wanted to continue accessing certain markets.

If he finally explained the reasons and they were completely different and had to do with player expectations it makes more sense, but it's not the reason he originally gave.

In beta MC and Nami had a talk before his date with Bella where it's revealed he can only get hard if he thinks of Summer. Which is tbh fucking sick considering she was like 12 or 14 when they last saw each other. They also had this talk if you do the Nami romance and go to the lake. Not sure if both of these conversations were removed in the latest rework.

Its almost all the conversations with his family. Bella is fucked up because of her sister. That one girl was traumatized by an abusive mother. One was bullied because she was poor. These are not mentally healthy people. Thats kinda the point, them working through that. His hang up with Summer isnt because it was sexual, but emotional. It's his emotional hang up manifesting physically. Well that and his panic attacks. Of course its not healthy.....its not supposed to be and even he knows that.

this is part of the reason why I like this and and yes even the MC. Cause we should see the growth of these characters over time and how they get over the issues especially the MC. Honestly I like the MC the best when it comes to character growth cause he knows he is fucked up and is actually wanting to better himself.

If you never played this game then yeah understandable cause it seems like for some reason at least the download I have doesn't have the warning anymore the says there is no sex in Season 1. But if you played it before then what you expect it's been known for awhile there isnt going to be any.

I just don't see it. I decided to follow the Bella route and count the number of decisions I had to make that I wouldn't normally have chosen to do based on how she acts, the idea being I wanted to see how far along I had to get before she becomes at least tolerable. But after only 3 (tell her about Summer, say we are alike, change in her presence) the MC starts having thoughts of "oh no, am I falling in love with her?"!!?!? Like wtf, damn. She hasn't even done a single thing to start improving my impression of her yet.

He does talk about it with Noji after the book club, it's not a lack of desire as he tries to force himself into it with the group kissing scene. Stimulus is not triggering. After yesterday's update, they're the same. Anyone who tells you otherwise is trolling at this point given how often this has been stated, and the info in Ocean's devlog, on Steam etc, as you know yourself having gotten the patreon version. What it means is there is one version to update, one version to port saves from, fewer chances of things breaking when saves are are imported from WiaB (in the very distant future) etc.

I think the evil modder will be focused on other things for a while, they might feel bad about the effect they had on Ocean's WiaB patreon. As to whether another evil modder puts their hands on it... would you trust someone to decensor it properly? The evil modder seems to really get the story somehow.

As said it takes a while to update, and I'm guessing they will wait for the Patreon version to come out to verify they are the same and see how much of the script has changed.
