This game seriously needs a money cheat! I have gone through the app data, registry, CSharp and Cheat Engine and I'm stumped...

You can get a little above 30k money by entering the value 00 00 00 00 40 A5 E0 40 in the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HONEYGAMES\Snake Thompson
in the field _moneyX_363621898Y where X stands for the number of the save slot and Y for the random count of the according field

And you need to restart or reload the game and buy something to see what you got

I agree. I think the game has a good base that could become great if done properly. But at the moment, the gameplay design is questionable because it's designed to be inconvenient to play through.

I'm not a fan of the "must have X money per week" concept in any game because it forces you to do something that doesn't really contribute to the game/story, you're literally just doing it because it's game over otherwise. This is made worse by adding the "must spend Y money to eat everyday" which makes making money even slower.

At times it feels like some of these game developers don't design the game to be fun to play. Just like you, I too feel that the game makes it difficult to even make me want to play it.

Really like this demo even though I haven't seen so much as an exposed boob yet, lol. Played for about an hour last night. The tone is straight '80's and I really enjoy it. There are the usual mistakes with these types of games so far, spelling and grammatical errors, repeated dialogue...but I like how the dev has handled multiple visits to the same areas with different renders. Many of the games like this that I've played don't go that extra step. Render quality is also good, but could be better. As someone who doesn't know the intricacies of rendering I can't suggest how they can be improved, I just know I've seen higher quality renders in other games.
