I'm assuming the issue talked about is "quirky," but hopefully not bad enough to prevent a good enough mtl. Although, he does bring up spacing too...

Edit: It's actually suuuper straightforward.
The very simple, easy, not stupid, regex pattern to grab the dialogue from the files is this:

I'm sorry, but I've abandoned the Lint Lucrows translation for now.
It's constructed so badly that thousands of manual edits with extensive testing would be needed to finish it, and it might as well be a manual translation project at that point.
Here's all the stuff I was able to automate, which is at least the vast majority of the dialogue:

I've just learned that "SLR" is actually also an abbreviation used by a VR porn producer called "Sex Like Real".
I'd like to mention, that I have no affiliation with them.

Btw just in case that didn't come through since nobody is actually asking about it, (but maybe just nobody really cares about it) if someone wants to test prototpyes of the SLR Translator I've built, you can just pm me and I'll send it to you as well as instructions on how to actually use it.

I just don't think it's ready for a proper thread release, yet.
There's still some not obvious limitations to it, especially when working with VX/VX Ace, and I still want to add better tutorialization specific to the project/engine as well as built in documentation.
Before that, a release thread would probably just be a mess of people complaining about things not working, because they didn't read anything before downloading, or expected to just press a button and have a SLRMTL. (That will never be the case.) :HideThePain:

But generally if someone cares enough about something to actually pm me, they are generally also willing to listen to instructions.

System requirements are basically just to be able to run a SugoiV4 server at a reasonable speed (you need one yourself it's not included in the SLR Translator) and having a good amount of extra ram.

Also in case that didn't come through either, that SLR Translator is going to fully replace me at some point, so if you want a specific feature get involved with it while I still have time. (Or just add it yourself later I guess. It's open source.)

This is in order to outsource the actual processing, so that my rig breaking doesn't just end this entirely.
