If I remember correctly you need to have an antidote in your inventory.

I can recommend the Magpile. Just play in windowed mode and stretch with upscaler, works great especially for Wolf/RPGmaker.

Always go for magic with AOE affects. The game is rather easy so as long as you have MP and ice skills. Having haste allows you to move around the map faster. Having shield will allow you to deflect magic attacks that do more damage than physical attacks. And having a poison spell for bonus bosses (they work on them).

Def > Atk > Reflect Magic shield > Heal 1 > Ice magic 1 (for red optional boss)

If you want at least a little bit challenge, then spend achievement points on: nothing. (but magic minimum)

Icy Plant is to be found in 4th area, first area only has Cool Mint which uses same icon.

You can sell Items at the generalstore (left of the market-space). But you will have "unlimitet" money if you massproduce and sell items.
