Nice game, still quite a way to go.
That said, the slavery part is not in the game yet, at best it is possible to mod npc as to have the PC indicated as Master (over their relationship lines) but since there is no (?) status on the PC relationship ? The game quite lack a wiki/resource document as to know what.
Since the developer also added a second "know traits" I guess an "discovery" mechanism is around. Enforcing this, the board is asking for a "cumslut", a trait currently not know to anyone in my school/over the listed npc..
Quite more to be added, no surprise is there ?

cant see any of the text, don't know if it's because i'm trying to play on an old rundown computer or if its something that can be fixed

It's usually because you may not have the required font installed.
Are you able to see the "options" menu on the start page??
If you can, then click on options (middle button), display settings (sunglasses), and then the second choice from the bottom (font:default). Click the arrows until either you see the font or try one font and if that doesn't work, there's a few more fonts you can try.
