Hey, just a heads up that, despite the game instructions saying otherwise, it runs perfectly fine under win7, considering you have the dependencies it needs and your win7 isn't fresh out of the original DVD.
Point is, if you're running win7 and it doesn't work, it's time to get some basic updates for your win7 and the VC redists, preferably the AIO package.

welp. This worked on my previous computer but no longer on this one. Used all .dlls, tried reinstalling them, and used Japanese language pack emulator. It refuses to run. Pity. I used to enjoy it.

As for otherwise, there's also a fix for the whole msvcr thing.
