Unity - Quickie: A Love Hotel Story [v0.34] [Oppai Games]

The game is really fun once you get into it. Once things start to feel less random and you figure out the system, it's more enjoyable. I don't particularly care for money systems in games anymore so I just use Cheat Engine to set the value. I suspect this removes what could be considerable grind from the game.

The hotel minigame is fun, the location/interaction system is good, and the interface is excellent. Right click behavior feels a bit inconsistent (Phone > Char Details > [right click] exits phone, should probably go back to Phone).

The game is well thought out, engaging and fun. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is because it feels like actions don't really have consequences. There's no investment into any character. You're just kind of along for the ride. But a consequence system would definitely detract from the simple elegance that is the heart of this game. So, I just bumped this review back up to 5 stars because the game is great for what it is, and doesn't try to do too much.

This game has some great art, great voice actresses, a fun story, and something unique - actually fun game to play. It's a fun management sim that has real gameplay and progress and would make this game pretty good by its' self. This game is definitely worth your time.

Really impressed by this game.

Characters are unique in both design and personality, dialog is entertaining, H scenes are really high quality, both in visual and sound design.

The hotel management gameplay in games like this tends to be pretty boring and a time sink, but somehow this one managed to be a pretty cool minigame that does not get boring (also because you don't need to do it too often.

Tremendous game.
Excellent artwork; solid writing; engaging characters and narrative and good gameplay.

The visuals here are the real hook, they are simple but very nice looking and the sex scenes are well animated. The overall look of the game from the characters, backgrounds, UI and game elements are also all top notch.

The writing is solid too, there's a bit too much giggling from the LIs but the cast is engaging and they each have their own issues the MC helps them through. This isn't a VN so people expecting a pathy game with a ton of impactful choices and branching paths will be disappointed. Nevertheless the LIs stories and the overarching story is well done. The writing for the sex scenes is good too. The LIs all seem to have their kinks and preferences which is nice, though people who have a real problem with certain kinks may be bothered because the characters are as they are and can't really be molded by the MC

This is at it's heart a dating sim and management game and both are well done and enjoyable to play. The dating sim has the MC leveling up his relationships with the LIs and there are a variety of ways to do so: gifts, hanging out, taking them for a tryst in on of your love hotel rooms, or even mini games that you can make some cash on and increase you relationship points. The hotel management game is good too. You build your hotels with one of 4 different types of rooms and assign the guests the type of room that meets their needs, there are upgrades and consumables that help you make more cash and see more guests. Once the hotels are up and running you don't have to manual manage them as they provide cash automatically each day

Finally the porn is excellent here too, there is a good variety of kinks some maledom, a bit of femdom and a few other things but none of it ventures into anything super hardcore and it should be safe for 95% of the players out there

Overall one of the better games on this site and a game everyone should give a shot.

This game gets boring really fast even though it has great potential in my eyes.

The gameplay itself is a bit too limited and tedious to perform, quickly shifting from interesting in concept to just annoying. I much preferred setting up my hotels to maximum daily profit upon reaching 5 stars and never touching them again.

The relationships are actually pretty well written though and flow well for the most part. Almost every character, even ones I didn't like at first, ended up winning me over and making me appreciate the narrative given for them.

Ultimately I'm interested in following the progress of this game but I care much more about the stories of the characters themselves than the actual hotel management mechanics or the sex scenes, which I particularly felt were lacking.

The game have a very shallow character develoment, as in: things go too fast. The relationships feel far too easy; you don't feel any dificulty towards earning someone affection, and, as a matter of fact, it's just... boring.

Theres no depth on the dialogues, in many ocasions your answers options are basicly the same. And your choices have very little consequences.

The managing hotel part is ok, but still... it lacks something.

And is it just me or the characters don't look japanese at all? Or even asian? The clothes, hair, the colours and style.

Overall, a shallow game that makes you lose interest in the first hour.

excellent graphics and animations, not boring gameplay, and many characters and events. Recommended, I've fapped until 4 AM. Interesting combination of 3d and 2d graphics. All the scenes are in 2D that makes this game perfect

Scene variety. That's a big one missing from here. Lots of positions are just missionary and variations of that. Other than that the gameplay is actually engaging like a restaurant sim where you have to click things to clean your hotel, drag patrons to fill spots, and move services when people request them.

Really i was bummed out that of all the scenes in this game, and there are like a 100, only maybe 5 are from behind, with 2 anal scenes. Also a lot of artwork could use a revamp, but for a v.28 this has more content that a majority of full games. Also tip to the dev, slow it down a bit with building relationships, you should only be able to take a girl to ramen once a week I think, builds hearts too fast, make taking them to quickie non-optional.

Honestly I expected far less and was blowen away by the amount of content and the art. It is far from perfect and not done, but it is really enjoable.

The selection of girls is great, though I feel like there is some classic archetypes missing like the housewife, the rival manger/boss and stuff like that.

The hotel gameplay is currently somwhat odd. The more upgreads you get (the ones that make more costumers appear so you can earn more cash) the harde the mini game gets. The first hotel (you know the one you try to save and that is your families) becomes the worst one you own really fast. Which is kind of lame. Even fully upgrades it earns less then the half upgrades second and third one.

The dialoge can drag on at points, but is funny and charming. I'd be neat if move feedback was given on what the choices do. So far I am not sure if getting less blue hearts was due to my choices or if the hangout event in the boat alwayse gives just much.

Truly THE best game on this site by my taste. It's porn in the style of Persona, great variety of girls, and fully animated, voiced scenes. It's hard to go back to the standard VNs on here after playing this gem.

One of the finest game I've ever played

let me rephrase it, yes I am huge fan of Oppai games. Been playing their games since years. They started with flash games and now here they are, emerging as one of the best adult game creators. I'm just so proud of them.

What is so unique about them ?

1. Art style: Needless to say they have got one heck of a unique and attractive art style. And they are steadily improving too.

2. Character: Always has been their plus point. You got 7 unique and distinctive characters lined up for romance. All the character design and personality are different. Some are just too damn hot.

3. Story: As it is a management game somewhat story really didn't flesh out as much as I want. Yes, individually all girls are getting ahead with their own stories but still I find it somehow lacking I dunno why. Then again they (Oppaigames) always has been good story tellers (play their quickie flash games) and obviously I expected more from them.

4. Sex Scenes: The aspect that is both main and critical in this type of games and guess what this is the region where they excel the most. Rarely will you be disappointed with a scene. Some are just so hot and sexy. I just love the last scene of Satomi. Can't wait for more.

5. Overall: I should've give it 4 stars but as it is still somewhat underrated I decided to give it 5 stars.

A very good game.
The art is unique but good. It's not a style that you can see in a lot of porn games.
The game itself is actually very fun. The hotel managing is sometimes feel more interesting than dating the girls. The learning curve is good. I was pretty impressed about how this game gets more and more challenging, but you don't feel like hitting a wall. The sound effect is very satisfying, which reminds me of good tycoon games such as Roller Coaster Tycoon.

It's a great game that mixed tycoon genre and dating sim. I highly recommend.

Dating and hotel managing game with high production value.

The first thing you notice is how clean and intuitive the UI is. It's partly voiced and the music does a good job at setting a mood. The LI's are nuanced and interesting as well as varied so there's a good chance you'll find someone to suit your tastes.

The managing aspect is well balanced with the character and story development. No single stage of the game feels like its outstaying its welcome, just like a well balanced meal, you'll be quite satisfied when playing this game.

Art and animations are spot on and it helped a lot that the MC is an interesting enough guy.

All in all, an easy 5. If dating sims and management games is your thing, you're gonna love this game. BUT it's also quite vanilla and the romance is often stereotypical japanese shounen manga style.

The standout feature here is a very good UI in comparison with the majority of other games. There are still some things that aren't great, such as navigation to sub-locations being a bit annoying, but that's relatively minor.

The characters are good overall. The story seems to be reasonably good with the writing supporting quite well. I didn't come across any particularly jarring text. Scenes are relatively short but well drawn.

The 3d scenes are a nice touch but are slightly let down by the models being a little lower poly count than one might have hoped. Bumping up to ultra quality improves them a little, on lower graphics it was hard to see the defining lines.

The "invite" feature feels quite disconnected from the rest of the character development. While there is dialogue before and during the scene, there's no lead in. At the very least the first time someone is invited there should be some sort of dialogue about it. It's pretty much glossed over that you're inviting them to a love hotel. To be fair, it looks like this is intended to be a feature you get after getting to 5 stars with each character (it says it's temporarily unlocked early), so I hope this will be improved later.

Very much appreciate the inclusion of voice acting, although sometimes it can be overly frequent when clicking through the text at natural reading speed.

this game is amazing, quality of art and gameplay are well above most H games. voice acting isnt spectacular but I dont really expect it to be. I didnt even play though all the current content because I want to experience such a fantastic game in a more complete version!

This game was a pleasant surprise. In a sea of half assed Renpy and RPGM template games, this really stands out as a much more professional and polished example of something a "real" indie dev can produce.

The art and animations are top notch and the girls are both appealing and different enough from each other to remain interesting.

Gameplay is maybe half management sim and half dating RPG.

The hotel mgt portion is interesting enough. It is on the easy side and can get a bit tedious over time.

The dating RPG portion is a little deeper than most with more than one way to get affection. I'm not enough of a weeb to know the differences between specific types of mangas or different types of ramen, some will find this easier.

The best "new to me" game I've seen here in quite some time.

Briliant graphic and animation, good and catchy gameplay combing several genres. This is definetly 18+ game suprise of the year 2022 for me. Thanks for posting it on F95, I took it as demo and already bought it on Steam.

★Chef's Kiss: goddamn...great art, great audio, great UI, great graphics, actual gameplay, etc. This game has it all. A MUST PLAY

+ the UI and transitions are enough to make you nut
+ the gameplay is (subjectively) a decent bunch of minigames (you can easily work around some)
+ the CG and visuals = super spicy
+ a variety of LIs
+ good amount of H content; each different from the others
+ sandbox hell yea
+ mild and non-intrusive voice acting
+ good character writing; even in the hotel scenes they stay in tune with their personality (i.e. Reika being extroverted, Sara being athletic)

- can be a bit too grindy without the cheats or the WIP rooms exploit for ez money
- production seems a bit slow; updates are inconsistent
- graphics settings don't seem to do much for the 3D overworld visuals

Overall, this game is absolutely deserving of 5 stars. I'm really surprised this isn't as well-known as it should be. Some are also concerned about premium-paywall content but tbh I'm fine with actually buying it on Steam (I don't want it to lock content behind DLC paywalls tho)
